AMG C32 brake replacement?

AMG C32 brake replacement?
Hi I was driving along minding my own business when... the MFD shows me that the brake lining wear, visit workshop. Does this mean that the pads need to get replaced? What is recommended? OEM replacement or aftermarket? I'm in a bit of a scramble too. I do have another car to drive but I would love to drive my car again.

depends on the weather
the light you encountered does mean a brake lining wear error ... so most likely you do need to replace the pads ...
many C32 owners (most of whom complain about excessive brake dust) have found that the Akebono Euro Ceramic pads are an excellent option over the OE pads.
Mintex pads are pretty good as well

I went and got my rotors replaced. they were actually right below the required minium, front pads were worn as well. so I had to.. thanks for that info though. And I'm sure we can't expect you guys to be on the boards over the weekends, some of us need to take some time off to spend with family.. happy driving.
