2004 C230 Kompressor Sport sedan 6 speed manual, 2013 S550 Sport 20" AMG
I had a bad experience with Hankook's, so I stick with the majors. From what I have read about performance tires, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's are at the top of the list, but also in price. Pirelli PZero Nero's seem very popular. These tires have a 220 treadwear, so their life will be limited. That's my 2 cents on sport tires. If your definition of the best is long wear or snow performance, you might want to check with someone else. Tire Rack's website has all the specs and feedback to make an informed decision on most any type of tire.

depends on the weather
all tire companies make some good tires and some not-so-good tires ... but across the entire line up I would say Michelin & Bridgstone are generally the top and have the best technology
