TPMS from Tirerack _ 09 C63 AMG
Well I just recently put on a set of aftermarket rims and I bought new TPMS from Tirerack and ever since I have been getting an error message to check tire pressure. I called their CS and was told it had something to do with me parking near my old sensors? I would believe that but I was away the entire day yesterday and I kept getting messages. They also suggested to look in the owner's manual to see if there is a relearning process for the new TPMS. So far the only part I have seen is to use the current tire pressure as the new setting. Do you guys have any tips? I've reset the TPMS for the current settings at least 10xs and I have checked the tire pressure and they are at the recommended pressure.

Interesting... i have received 2 sets of TPMS from Tirerack and I have never had a problem. Are you sure your tires have the correct air pressure? I was using a cheap air gauge and it kept telling me that the air pressure was okay but once i switched to a higher tech one, i noticed that all my tires were wrong.

I am running 41 & 45 (which is what the factory recommends for a 5 passenger car). I've been using this analog gauge for a while and I believe it is accurate. Additionally, I thought the TPMS worked by indicating if the tire pressure fell below the value that it was reset to. I have since reset this at least 10xs and I still get the message for "check tire pressure".
What are you running on your 19s? As you can see, I am using the 18" tire pressure.

So far, I've reset the values when I was in my garage (within proximity of the old wheels, with the factory TPMS).
Reset the values when I was away from home the entire day.
Checked the tire pressure multiple times along with trying different pressures followed by doing the reset.

humm ...
make sure your installer didn't damage them during installation ....
if they still won't work after correct installation and lack of damage has been verified we will happily repaoce them and reimburse you for the labor to replace them
