I found this website through a craigslist add, www.wheels-power.com. They are advertising 20" asanti wheels for $900 new. I know how much Asanti wheels usually cost, thats why I am asking. It sounds too good to be true, but I still want to make sure I am not passing up a great deal. Has anyone heard of this company or have any thoughts? Thanks!

Well 250+ views, id expect somebody to have an opinion on the matter lol. Especially considering that the website is selling Asantis for so cheap.

I'm sure that price is per wheel. You should try contacting them.

I looked at the site and they are saying the quoted price is for 4 wheels AND tires! That is just a bit hard to believe.

They seem legit, they are based out of Colonie, NY and have an actual store front. When you call them a live person answers. Also their BBB certification checks out. If I was looking for wheels I would consider them. If you order from them, I would ask if they are selling brand new or refurbished wheels only because the prices seem so good. TC

Ya their prices for all 4 wheels and tires are the same price 1 wheel w/ no tire at a local shop.. sounds pretty sketch.

Those prices are extremely low. I just spent a few minutes browsing the site and it does look like the price is for a set of wheels/tires and shipping to anywhere in the lower 48. With prices like that I'm also interested in purchasing a set from them. Anybody with feedback please chime in.

Website?
I was fishing around their website and noticed they have no link embedded in the Better Business Logo. I went to BBB.org and looked them up, found nothing matching wheels-power.com. I just called the BBB in New York to figure out a bit more info, they also had nothing and said if they were BBB certified, their logo would have a link to BBB.org with all the companies info, reviews and history. This does not mean the company is a scam tho, it is kinda suspicious but online startups can be pretty difficult to get up and running off the bat. Furthermore, the company could be listed under a name separate and aside from their web address.

Here is a simple domain licence search I performed:

http://www.networksolutions.com/whoi...eels-power.com

Here is the "location of their business":

4290 Albany Street, Colonie, NY 12205

-I really hope this place is legit, I would be stoked to get some 20" Asanti's for $900! Either way, if anyone does buy thru them, let me know how it goes.

If it seems to good to be true....

the cheapest 20" tire on the market in decent widths is around $400 for all 4, that would mean you are getting 4 3 pc wheels for $500, think about it for a second. Now asanti had a ton of discontinued styles and wheels that were made overseas that were horrible quality, they blew them out to dealers but their cost was still above this. The only logical answer would be if it is true, then they are most likely going out of business and blowing out whatever they have.

if you pay by credit card, you are protected regardless because you can always do a chargeback
