choosing 20" rims for w211

Any suggestions for the other brand beside Brabus ? Looking at ss_ss1 car I guess there is no original monoblock V will fit and the monoblock VI r too common. How about 20" monoblock III multipiece, will it fit ???

You can't (or very very very difficult) to fit 20x9.5 in the front axle.

Unfortunately, the Brabus multipiece monoblock 3's in 20 only comes in 20x9.5

Bry It will fit if you choose 20 monoblock III. In fact it's a very good choice for your car.

20x9.5 in the front will fit but you have to sacrifice turning radius and tolerate rubbing. We tried on Brabus MIV 2-pc 20x9.5 and had problems turning (you can modify the inner fender and front bumper trims to compensate, but will still rub). Oh and this is before lowering the car.

Also noticed that the E500 has more fender well clearance than the E320. If you have a 500, it may very well work with little sacrifice.

OGkarma, you said you tried 20x9.5 in front but had problems, that was an E320 as you said, for a e320/e500 with airmatic, do you think you would run into the problem that you faced with the 320? Anyone else got input?

triggaice - nah, you should be fine, but will definitely modify inner fender and bumper. W211s with airmatic have the same clearance. I would go with 8.5s or 9s to be safe.

I am in the same situation as you right now. Lookin for rims for my E. At first was thinkin Brabus cause you can't go wrong with Brabus, but everyone has the Mono IV"s so I decided to go wit the Mono III's. but I hear they are discotinued...oh well I have been talkin to Harris from hartonmotorwerks... Real nice guy. He showed me the Carlssons and I love em. But at the same time I was lookin at the HRE 542R's. 20's of course. The Carlssons would be 19's cause those rims..boy are they expensive. Well have to wait and see what we can do. Was tinkin about 20x8.5 and 20x9.5 rear. Is it possible to stick 20x9's in the front? cause if i can then im going to do that and 20x10's in the rear. Well my 2 cents from the "lil boy"

Carlssons being too expensive? never heard that before in my life, those rims are dirt cheap. Now since you say your looking at HREs and you dont have a problem with the price, you should have a million width options with an HRE setup. I would never put a carlsson wheel on a new e-class, I heard that company is already gone if not about to be gone. I was only asking about a 9.5 in the front with airmatic because I know you can get SINGLE piece monoblock VI's reaaal cheap compared to the multi piece 19inch. But to be honest, 19s look soooo much better on the 211 in my opinion. Lowered to the fullest on some 19inch staggered just looks like its meant to be, 20s make the car look weird. Look at that 211 with 20x9.5's, it looks weird. lol looks like I contridicted my own question!
