Do you care to explain this comment? More effort? Do you mean like stating what type of wheels or what type of vehicle they are going on?

Hey Kwik, get a life!! It is a legit question, if you don't have anything to contribute, don't reply! Stupid comments like yours make searching through past threads ineffective, if you feel the need to post *****, take it to the OT!!

I have 18x8.5" front and rear and i put 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 .... The front tyres maybe a bit skinny but I like my rear meaty tyres

On a 19x8.5 you should be able to run 245/30/19 all the way around and a 255/35/19 or a 255/40/19 in the rear. Hope this helps..

Thanks! That sounds awesome, have you seen the 255 on a 8.5" wheel? How does it look? Is the tire too fat for the wheel?

Also ask Whitey. He had 255's on the back of his W210. I know it's not the same but at least you can see how the tire looks on the rim. I would've also offered this size as the largest but didn't know it would fit on the rears as per Luke. Going with 235's on the front and 255's on the rear with 8.5" wheels will give you the illusion of a staggered wheel set up. Good luck and post some pics. if you go foward with it...
