HELP! Just bought 2003 E320 RIMS and I have a 1994 E320

I just bought these rims and tires without doing a lot of research and the offsets are different (mine are 44 and the wheels are 36).

Can I use 8mm hub centric wheel spacers to fix this problem or am I screwed?

2002 C230 : 2007 C230
adding an 8mm spacer to a wheel with a et36 will get you wheels with an et28

The rims will move OUTWARD 8mm. NO spacers needed. Should be OK, unless tire size is too large compared to stock.

W211's use 14mm bolts and W210's use 12mm bolts. So, it doesn't matter what the offset is, you still can't use those wheels.

So the bolts are shorter on the new E320's? I assume that if I were to get shorter lug nuts that still would not work.

It is not the length of the bolts it us the diameter. Mercedes uses a spherical bolt and seat instead of the more common conical design. You could use your 12mm bolts with the W211 wheels, but the 12mm bolts won't provide adequate clamping force. The sherical portion of the 12mm bolt will only contact a small area of the 14mm seat of the bolt hole in the wheel. The bolts will quickly loosen causing the wheel to wobble, damaging both the wheels and the bolts. If not promptly corrected, the wheels will literally fall off the car.

depends on the weather
the lug diameter and ball seat diameter is the problem ..... those wheels will not properly fit a w210
