E500 Wheel Recommendation
If you're getting 19's, you should get 19x8.5/19x9.5 with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. You will probably feel a bit harsh on 19's, 19's is more for the look than comfort. It really depends on yourself, what feels harsh to me might not be harsh to you. I can say most people will find 18's acceptable.
You might have rubbing problems fitting 19x10 with the wrong tire and wrong offsets. I really find it annoying when people made misleading comments.

.....judging by what Harris posted above you, your rear tire size is the WRONG size. Since Harris states 275 is the correct size for the rear, nothing else will work. LOL. I find it annoying as hell when members who haven't seen my car just assume that 19 X10 will rub.
Do you own a '04 E500 and put 19x9/19x10 wheels with 235/265 tires??? Who makes 19x9 front wheel for the W211????

As far as finding a company that makes a 19X9 front...... you own a business , correct? you find out that info and post if for everyone.
Have a nice day
front
18X8
245/40-18
rear
18X9
275/35-18
front
19X8.5
245/35-19
rear
19X10 or 19X9.5
275/30-19
I would not recommend a 10" rear wheel though ...... there is no benefit of having the 10" wheel and it actually increases understeer

Ahhh.....forget about it Luke, the next thing you hear is someone will tell you that you dont recommend it doesnt mean it doesnt work....or you can always roll the fenders etc etc......No matter what you say, some people will just argue and argue and argue.....plus the point in here is what is the recommended wheel size for a E500, not whether one should put 19x10 on a E500.

Of course, here comes the part where you tell everyone that you are a self-made millionaire because of your booming business, however, everyone knows that you can post anything you want on the internet, so go ahead. Anyways, just remember you are a MBworld sponsor.....act like one.

- the original poster asked what is the recommend size and someone said 19x9 and 19x10
- I expressed my recommended sizes
- then someone suggested what MB recommended are not always right, people should listen to him. Please note: that someone owns a CLK and claimed to have 19x10 wheels on his car and they fit fine
- then someone challenges and said I know nothing because I dont own a car with 19x10. What that someone doesnt know is I did have a CLK430 before and I am VERY familiar with W208 sizing. However, someone is again missing the point, we are talking about a W211, not 209, not 208, not 203. I repeat a W211 E500.
- then someone made a comment on me having poor customer service, my business is failing bla bla bla.....as if he is living with me everyday.
Let me get this straight, its okay to have an open discussion on the board. But its NOT okay to start personal attacks. I think this is one of the reason why Mr. CLKAL has been put "ON PROBATION". If I am at fault or made a wrong statement, I will always stand behind it and admit it. I dont see there is anything wrong with admitting one's fault. I can't be always right. Whether I have the last word or not is not important, I just want to help out whenever I could. If anyone doesnt appreciate it, DO NOT read my posts.
clkal: I do not have a single clue of what are you talking about. Ummm....why dont we list out all the facts here.....

if you have any other questions, or still are skeptical that 10's will fit on the rear of the W208, let me know.....or i'm sure Luke can help you out as well =)
And you are still missing the point, the question is "what is the recommended size for the W211 E500, NOT W208, why do you keep on making reference to your car???? Hello???? Do you get it???? Its a E500, NOT a W208!!! I repeat, E500!!!! Do you know ANY tire fitment on E500????
Sorry, I am getting sick talking to a piece of wood. I'm out.

if you are getting sick, i can see why....it is because of your know it all attitude. Your post earlier, doubting that I had 10" rims in the rear of my car got clowned on by my pics. Then you had to go and post YOUR car, stating you are the very first one to have this and that blah blah blah....... You want to start calling me names, bring it on, tough guy....LOL.
