I've got a 1998 CLK320 and need to buy new tires so figured i'd just get a used set together. I know that the staggered setup for this would be 19x9.5 in rear and 19x8.5 in front, right? Would a regular setup be 19x9.5 all around? i like the look of the rear rims better than the front but would they fit on the front?

well, you got the 19X8.5 front and 19X9.5 rear right! The 19X9.5 will not fit on the front. The 19" CL rims you are talking about are made for the S class and CL and have 14mm holes drilled out for those cars. Our CLK's use 12mm bolts, so it is NOT recommended that you use these rims. They look really nice if you do put them on though =)

I have driven two different CLK's with 19's any I saw no reason not to run a 19" wheel setup ... it was a little firm but, not as firm as the Sports car I drive on a semi-daily basis

nah some guy selling 4 19x9.5...unless the front two are 8.5 and he just doesn't know? nah im sure he would be able to tell that they look different. or im not sure if he bought two sets, put four fronts all around, and now he's selling the rears

I used to have this setup on my CLK430... 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear, I had to use 15mm Spacers from H&R all around in order for them to fit, I was also running an H&R Cup Kit, very good looking wheel combo for the W208, 19X8.5's all around will work, just buy spacers.
