Wheel Fitment HELP
Hi All,
I recently bent a front wheel on my GLE 53 Coupe and turns out dealer has no idea when a new one will be available. I am looking for a new set of wheels but can't find any that have the same 51 front and 47 rear offset.
Can anyone help explain what I can do to make other wheels fit?
Thanks!!

Check with the tuners, like Brabus, typically there is a flexible tolerance in wheel offsets when you range something from a factory application to an aftermarket one.
This is why aftermarket wheels tend to look more aggressive on a vehicle compared to a stock fitment, the aftermarket is usually 10-15mm more aggressive, so if your factory uses an ET51 Front, you should be able to fit something in the same size range with a ET40-45, and the rear being a ET47 should allow a 35-40mm offset wheel.
Some aftermarket wheels might be a different size meaning a 8.0 with a 51 could accept a 8.5 with a ET40.
Again, look up what Brabus would offer for your model, and that should be the Bible to go by as they are required to meet the German TUV approval just like the factory is required with the AMG wheels. This goes for tires as well.

Unfortunately, Brabus doesn;t have anything with it being a '21 model.
What would you think about going from stock:
Front - 21X 10" (width) X 51 offset
Rear- 21 X 11" width X 47 offset
TO
Front - 21 X 9" (Width) X 25 offset
Rear- 21 X 10.5" (Width) X 41 offset

I will find out the rim application for you from Brabus.

If you were to run a 10" front and a 10.5 rear, that means you would have to try and match a staggered tire, or if you used the same recommended 285/45-21 then the front tire would look bigger as it would sit more square or pinched on the rim, and the rear would then stretch and lay down the sidewalls giving it a less aggressive look. If I were you I would look for wheels that are in the same spec range as Brabus recommends as they have TUV Tested and approved their application, which also means the tires in that size are approved as well.
Hope this helps.
