DO NOT BUY ZITO WHEELS - Scamed by Tony
We are previous Zito Wheels customer, but only bought the wheels in Europe (Import from Taiwan). This time around we could not get the wheel specification for our vehicles. So, we were recommended to contact Zito Wheels USA. We were contacted by Anthony Amato, AKA Tony. He didn’t respond to the email we sent directly to their company email-address, but for unknown reason he rather contacted me on WhatsApp. We then agreed on ordering (April 8th, 2021) the wheels to our specifications. The payment was transferred by bank wire to Tony’s personal/business account. He did not accept PayPal. So, we assumed as Zito Wheels USA is worldwide company, and have many followers all around the world, it should be no issue (BIG mistake)
We were mistaken. Tony acknowledge/confirmed that he received the agreed amount of $3000 from Bank of America. We have written proof and documentation by messages and bank confirmation that Tony did received the amount we agreed on (see the attached pictures from the conversation). We were looking forward to receiving the wheels as we had planned a car and coffee event in June/July. But sadly, and disappointingly Tony stopped answering our calls and messages completely. The last massage he sent was an excuse that they had major issues and delays with their machine and powder coating facility. Which is completely incorrect as other customer don’t report this issue in the States. So to conclude, we have been waiting for approximately 4 months now, and Tony has stopped responding completely, and we have been patiently waiting, but unfortunately we have to accept that we have been scammed by Zito Wheels USA and Tony.
Tony never intended to ship the wheels to Europe. This is unfortunate as we were loyal Zito customer for years, and previous had good experience, until we started dealing with Tony. The Irony in this situation is that Tony is promoting one of my cars on their Instagram-page with Zito wheels, but simultaneous scamming us. Finally, we will be reaching out to other organization on all social media to create awareness of this case and how Tony is misleading and taking advantage of paying customer. In the last few days we have been in contact with at least five other Zito customer (from both Europe and US) who have been scammed like us. Same pattern, Tony receive the agreed amount, makes excuses, lets you wait for a long time and then stops the communication. We will be updating this post as the process continue. BTW: Tony/Zito disabled the reviews on FB-page and deleted all negatives review from other customer. Most likely he because he clearly can’t handle the truth or any form of criticism. Fortunately we have all the backup of the conversations and uploaded pictures. Please see the attached pictures and documentation from our case.

Got our first reply from Tony/Zito Wheels USA, after more than one week of silence (we have in total been waiting for 4 months now) - right after posting this case yesterday and speaking to Zito Taiwan head.
We were made aware of the person in charge, thankfully, from another customer who had issue with Tony.
He will hopefully investigate it, but we wouldn't hold our breath. We have also submitted the case to Better Business Bureau.
We have to see it to believe it - Will keep you updated.

So many ppl getting ripped off? Wouldn't this be a police matter? Wouldnt your solicitor be keenly interested in a case like this???
Firstly, a short timeline recap/summary for previous and new readers:
April 8, 2021: We contacted Tony (Anthony Amato) and Zito Wheels USA to order the ZF15 wheels.
April 9, 2021: We transfer by bank wire the agreed amount of $3000 to Tony’s (Anthony Amato) account – Bank of America.
April 10, 2021: Tony (Anthony Amato) claims wheels will be finished approximately between 3-4 weeks.
April 13, 2021: Tony (Anthony Amato) confirms that he has received the agreed amount ($3000) and wheels are being machined to our selected specification.
May 9, 2021: 4 weeks after ordering, we ask Tony (Anthony Amato) about progress regarding finishing the wheels. Tony (Anthony Amato) claims the wheels are getting finished soon and he will contact them (unknown) on Monday (May 10, 2021).
May 18, 2021: We request again status and timeframe about our prepaid wheels.
May 19, 2021: Tony (Anthony Amato) claims the wheels will be shipping end of next week. Which means by May 28, 2021. We have now patiently been waiting for 7 weeks.
June 1, 2021: We request again status and shipping information about our prepaid wheels. Tony do not respond for another 8 days. We even send an email to Tony (Anthony Amato) at their company email-address. We try several times to call Tony (Anthony Amato) on his company phone number, but no response.
June 9, 2021: Tony (Anthony Amato) finally responds. He is calming that they are having major technical difficulties.
June 11, 2021: We request again status and shipping information about our prepaid wheels. Tony (Anthony Amato) respond (you can read his statement and claims in the previously posted screenshot). Tony (Anthony Amato) claims that latest shipping date for any order cannot be later than June 28, 2021. We patently wait, again.
June 28, 2021: We again request status and shipping information about our prepaid wheels. Tony (Anthony Amato) would now not respond to our WhatsApp messages, iMessage, email and phone calls.
Going from wheels being machined and ready to be shipped – to wheels never have been existed. Everybody who can read this report and understand the context from our conversations with Tony (Anthony Amato) can clearly see the strong suspicion towards defining this case as a fraud/scam. Nextour legal teams gets involved, and this is the first time we try to locate other customer who have dealt with Tony (Anthony Amato) and Zito Wheels USA. We have communication with five other customers, and we start collecting testimonies and communication history/records.
July 5, 2021: Thanks to one of the customers our team had contacted previously, we received legit information and suggestion to contact Mr. Eric Peng, Zito Taiwan. So, we wrote a lengthy email to Mr. Eric, explaining the situation and the lack of communication from Tony (Anthony Amato). We also sent all the documentation and conversation history collected so far. Another significant point here is that shortly after this communication happened the review/rating system on Zito Wheels page was disabled, and the reviews dating 6-12 month back, also before we came in the picture, was also removed.
July 6, 2021: Mr. Eric Peng replied the day after and said he will investigate it when he would return to California. Unfortunately, we never did get a response. But we are almost sure that he communicated with Tony (Anthony Amato) as he suddenly, out of nowhere, replied to our email for the first time in 9 days (July 6, 2021). We replied, requesting status on the wheels or we would be requiring a refund. Complain regarding this case was also submitted (July 5th, 2021) with Better Business Bureau. We gave Tony (Anthony Amato) until next week to answers or give us some update.
Below is the latest update and development in this case:
July 10, 2021: Tony (Anthony Amato) answer us for the first time on WhatsApp since July 11, 2021 (4 weeks later). He explains his reasons and claiming he has never not fulfilled an order and so on. He apologies for the situation and waiting for valid tracking number and so on. But here is the significant part of the case. Tony (Anthony Amato) only contacted us after the knowledge of this thread and the review/reports we have been posting regarding this case.
So, for the first time Tony (Anthony Amato) is communicating with us through WhatsApp, to our big surprise from July 10, 2021 – July 14, 2021. In our opinion if he had put the same amount of effort into actually fulfilling our prepaid order, rather writing to us about this and that, perhaps we wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place. It is what it is. We have also opted out of respect (what little is left) not to post the complete conversation between us and Tony (Anthony Amato) from July 10, 2021 – July 14, 2021. Let’s just say it would not put Tony (Anthony Amato) and Zito Wheels in a good light. But then again, we won’t hesitate to post those conversation publicly if he doesn’t keep his word in the last message sent July 16, 2021. In short, the conversation is about accusation without any basis, dragging out the time without giving us any updates on the wheels and shipping information. We also stated we will only, when upon receiving our prepaid wheels, delete and withdraw our reviews/reports + forum threads. As we told Tony (Anthony Amato) we will also post pictures of the wheels as proof of evidence and finally closing this case once and for all. The burden of proof rests solely on Tony (Anthony Amato) and Zito Wheels now. If he fails, disappear and ignore us again, then the car community will for sure know what to call this case.
July 14, 2021: Lastly, we sent Tony (Anthony Amato) and Zito Wheels a final notice to provide us with a delivery date/tracking information within Friday (July 16, 2021). And that the next communication will be through our legal team. Below is a screenshot from Tony (Anthony Amato) last response. The readers here can make up their own mind how to interpret this message. Tony (Anthony Amato) is now claiming that he will ship our prepaid wheels within 30 days (August 15, 2021). Now Tony (Anthony Amato) and Zito Wheels have the golden opportunity to prove to us and the rest of the world, now for the third time, or was it fourth time, lost the count, that he intent to fulfil the prepaid order.
Do we believe his claim that he will ship the wheels to Europe after 18-19 weeks from first ordering? Only time will tell.
We will keep you guys updated on this case and will definitely be posting again in 30 days, depending on if we actually receive the wheels, either pictures of the wheels or something completely different.
Thanks for the support. Have a nice weekend.

Most likely because Tony clearly could not handle the truth or any form of criticism. So, 4-5 weeks ago when we suspected scam/fraud when Tony (Anthony Amato) and Zito Wheels
started ignoring our messages and phone calls, we wrote our review and experience on Google review. This was the only option as everything else was disabled.
But now/today, Tony (Anthony Amato) and Zito Wheels, have disabled the Google review system as well, and completely disappeared from Google maps.
As promised, will updating next week. Don’t expect our pre-paid wheels to be sent (Last date: August 15, 2021) or any form of refund.
Few weeks back we also submitted a complaint with BBB (Better Business Bureau).
Clearly from the response we have received from BBB, Tony (Anthony Amato) and Zito Wheels are ignoring them as well.
At this point its’s looks more likely to confirm this case as a scam. We will be updating next week.
When it comes to our attorney, they are working on building a case against Tony (Anthony Amato) and Zito Wheels, but again they are also located in Europe, so its not straight forward, but fortunately we have business partners and a network of great people in US who will be assisting us with this case.
As we are fighting for justice and creating awareness of this case on social media in hope of other customer don’t get caught in similar scam/fraud, it’s important to understand that in these cases it takes time - but we will get there.
We have now understood and accepted that the CEO of Zito Wheels USA, Tony, have no intention whatsoever to send our prepaid ($3000) wheels to us as agreed in writing.
On a side note: it amazes us that the CEO of Zito Wheels, Tony, would scarify and jeopardize the “good” name, reputation and publicity of Zito Wheels just to scam legit and paying customer for $3000 - this will forever be a mystery for us. But then again people have personal/financial issues, but to exploit, lie, mislead and scam legit paying customer is defiantly the next level for Tony and Zito Wheels.
We have no other option, as to the nature of this very case, to declare and confirm this case as scam/fraud.
· Tony and Zito Wheels has now stopped responding to our messages – as expected.
· Tony and Zito Wheels has in fact disabled and deleted both Facebook and Google reviews, to avoid the truth getting out and avoid to get exposed.
· Tony and Zito Wheels has in fact removed their Google maps location. Info sill available on their website, for now.
· Tony and Zito Wheels are still operating as before on WhatsApp, Instagram, and phone (yes, we have checked through our network). Still trying to take orders and payments through bank-wiring and Zelle.
On August 20, 2021 we got the confirmation that Zito wheels failed to respond to the submitted complain with BBB. At least they got their own page and rating.
Secondly, on August 12, 2021 we also submitted a complaint with FTC with all the info on Tony and description of the case.
Thirdly, on August 17, 2021 we contacted Downey Police department with all the available information and documentation. This has now been forwarded to General’s Office California Department of Justice, eCrime Unit.
The Downey Police department told us that we now must wait to get an investigator assigned to our case. These cases take time but hopefully we will get there, if not, at least people in the car community will be aware of Tony and this fraudulent company, Zito Wheels.
We will continue and focus on creating awareness online and on social media (with collaboration on other platforms),
even if we never receive our prepaid wheels or a refund, which most likely is the case now, at least other customer and people in the car community can avoid these type of scams.
Stay tuned, tomorrow we will be releasing customer testimony/conversation history from other customer who have been scammed and threatened by Tony and Zito Wheels.

The Downey Police department told us that we now must wait to get an investigator assigned to our case.
. It was not meant to be.Hopefully other in the car community can have a learning experience form this very case.
We have already started warning the local car community + potential customer through social media about Tony and Zito Wheels. So far we have only received positive feedback all over the place (local and international) from either potential customer who were going to or considering doing business with Tony and Zito Wheels – which they have avoided because of our small but important contribution. We will continue this process and create awareness so other customer can avoid getting in similar situation in the future.

Before we go into the last segment and publish the complete conversation between us and Tony (Anthony Amato) from July 10, 2021 – July 14, 2021,
we have a surprise comeback, the silence is broken after a few days. How convenient and what coincidence that suddenly Tony/Zito Wheels has now responded to our message, just as we updated the case online.
We believe Tony/Zito Wheels are following the forum threads and responding accordingly.
You guys can read for yourself, but in short terms: more lies, more excuses, accusation without any basis and buying himself more time – the same pattern as the last 5 months.
Secondly, we didn’t know Tony was representing and making statement behalf of other wheel companies. Let’s just get the facts straight.
We have already been in touch with premium wheel companies in the last few weeks, and why are they calming wait time is 5-6 weeks for custom wheels, offset, bolt-pattern, custom finish etc.
So, last time we checked there is difference between 6 and 30 weeks. So, either these legit and reputable wheel companies are completely off or Tony/Zito Wheels is giving us fake information (again).
What will be next statement from Tony: it’s normal to have a wait time of 12+ months?
Lastly why are Zito Wheels any different from any other companies/organizations, why are Tony/Zito Wheels not obliged by the State rules and regulations when it comes to refund policy?
As any other company that fail to deliver a product in time as agreed, then they are obligated to provide full refund.
But in this case, Tony/Zito Wheels, are playing by their own rules: no refund and no wheels – simply just ripping off customer.
When it comes to removing correct and legit reviews and forum threads, I wonder what is there left to remove when
Tony and Zito Wheels have already systematically removed all negative reviews from Facebook and Google, as they don't want to get exposed.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist, every single person in the car community can now see straight through Tony’s statements.
Now on to the main point:
Below is the conversation between us and Tony/Zito Wheels from July 10, 2021 – July 14, 2021.
Again, you are free to read for yourself, but in short terms: The CEO of Zito Wheels, Tony, is indirectly/directly asking and pressuring us to delete our Google review and forum threads about him and Zito Wheels scamming us as a legit and paying customer.
Who in their right mind would delete the negative review before receiving the prepaid wheels? Why are Tony and Zito Wheels trying to restrict our voice to express our experiences online when he is clearly scamming us?
The reason why we would not yield to Tony’s demands is simply because other customer has unfortunately been through the same game and got scammed. See the attached conversations later in the post.
NOTE: July 14, 2021 - Tony started responding to us on iMessage.
In this day and age, you can’t even call out scammers with solid evidence as they will
misuse and hide behind the term defamation – but fortunately people have the ability to read and understand that Tony/Zito Wheels is just putting on an act.
NOTE: As we mentioned one of Tony's previous customer by his name and stating that we had obtained customer testimony from other customer who have been scammed and threatened,
then Tony went in panic mode or something similar of that nature. He started calling us repeatedly. We were not able to attend to his calls as we were busy in a meeting.
Then to our big surprise, Tony tried to call our number again, not once but ten times. It was late/nighttime here, so we didn’t respond to his calls.
At this point we were not interested in talking on the phone as we got impressions from previous customer we have communicated with (see attachment later in the post),
that Tony is very aggressive and threatening on the phone.
NEXT: When Tony and Zito Wheel started deleting their reviews on Facebook and Google,
we fortunately got in touch with few of the customer who have dealt with and scammed by Tony.
We really appreciate the contribution from these customer, as they shared their experiences with us regarding this fraudulent company (Zito Wheels).
Top tip:Even if everything seems lost, never delete the conversation history, as they can be used to document the case and of course warn others.
In short: This customer was also scammed by Tony and Zito Wheels: He writes a negative review about the wheel quality (peeling/paint problems),
Customer reaches out for help regarding the problem with his wheels, in exchange for deleting the review Tony will ''sort'' out everything.
Customer have to spend $600+ to repaint at local shop. When it comes to keeping his word and paying up, Tony simply stop responding and disappear.
He rather start accusing the customer for talking advantage of him - there is no logic whatsoever.
Great customer service from Tony and Zito Wheels - scamming legit and paying customer (again).

Again, Tony trying to scam and threaten this customer but fortunately this ended well - which is rare.
This customer also got deleted his review from the page but fortunately we got in touch.
Finally, it's safe to say that the car community can now really see for themselves how Tony and Zito Wheels are operating.
Above are some of the few customer including us, who have been scammed, threatened and treated unfairly.
Perhaps what we all are wondering and thinking of now: How many more are out there who have been scammed by Tony?
Its safe to say there are probably more people/customer who have never raised their voice and just accepted their fate.
Now it’s up the authority. We will continue our work and create awareness about this case and the fraudulent business Tony and Zito Wheels is running,
in addition we will shortly begin our collaboration work on other platforms - so more people out there can avoid this scam/fraud.
