Koni or Kleemann??
I have just changed to H&R springs on E55. I noticed that car now has insufficient rebound control with factory shocks, so am going to upgrade.
What are the pros/cons of Koni VS Kleemann (price excepted).
As a third choice, my receptionists boyfriend is the salesmanager for the Aust Bilstein distributor.
Help!!!!

Thanks for that, you do realise that I suffer from a condition known as an "inability to delay gratification" and that isn't helping at all.
Translation I want new shocks NOW, but I don't know what to order. my wife says it's an obsession.

Out Of Control!!
Stephens,
If you want the best, get the Kleemanns. I have experimented with other shocks on my car, and I can tell you that nothing comes close the the comfort and stability of the Kleemann Speed-Sensitive shocks. On track, the Kleemann E class was able to turn at over 10 mph more than the H&R/Koni setup.
Kleemann shocks have multiple variable aperatures that each react differently depending on the different levels of stress placed upon the car. Under normal driving, the result is a comfortable Mercedes-quality ride. In fact, most find the Kleemann shocks to be more comfortable than the AMG cars are stock. At the first instance of additional stress, whether by accelerating, braking, cornering, or a combination of the 3, the shocks instantly react accordingly, providing a ride that outhandles all other suspensions on the market.
Thanks
Ben

Has anyone here driven the koni and kleemann back to back (Evosport
), what is the difference between the two, ride over ripples, sharp edge bumps, rebound control etc?? Knoi's are about $500 US fitted, Kleemann $1700. Is this value, or am I paying $1200 to get a "comfort" setting?

I am leaning towards Koni, because new car will be delivered in 6mths. Are Konis externally adjustable on fronts? What settings are recommended for front and rear?
