Question Help with AMG Lugs on DBL spoke 209 type IV's

I just acquired a like new set of Type IV double spoke 209 AMG wheels, for my 02 E320(w210) the offset is ET37 in front,ET30 in rear(same 5X112 bolt pattern).I plan to use 10mm hubcentric spacers in front, and nothing in the rear. With the spacers, what size AMG bolts do I need for the front? And where to find the spacers and lugs for this application?
All help deeply appreciated.

Find the correct lugs for the wheels, measure the distance from the ball seat to the end of the threaded section, and add 10mm! That would be appropriate for a 10mm spacer. You can get the lugs a lot of places, an mbworld sponsor that carries lugs and spacers would be pure motorsports or tirerack.

10mm spacers? Why are you reducing the front offset to et27 and the rear to et20? Can you say "tire rub" on the fender. You don't need to use spacers for your car! All these AMG Double Spokes fit your car without the need for spacers:

17x7.5 et37
17x8.5 et30
18x7.5 et37
18x8.5 et30

Yep,,the sizes you wrote are correct,17x7.5,and 8.5.The ET is also right.I was contemplating reducing only the front ET to 27.Would that create a rub?I was not going to reduce the rear at all.Whitey advised me that for looks and handling properties,10mm spacers would be a good idea.Im at ET35 all around with the AT's.Whatdya think Kev?
Also thanks Scorchie,for the info.

Sure the wheels will fit without spacers with ET37 at 7.5" but will be sitting much further inside the fender than Stemag's current 8.5" ET35, as well as the 8" ET31 standard W210 E55 setup. According to my calculations, stemag's 7.5" would need about ET25 to come very close to the W210 E55 fender alignment. If someone could verify my calculations, that would be more assuring for stemags, although I'm pretty sure of my calculations. One has to remember, these wheels were designed for the C's and CLK's settings, not the W210.

I've had the AMG Mono II's on my lowered car without the need to roll the fenders - Stemags will be on stock height, hence I don't believe he will have any problems with rubbing. With that setup, he will achieve a fender alignment that's very close to an E55 at ET27....with 2mm to spare. Besides, he will end up with more space for a BBK if he wants them in the future

Dean, the problem is stemags' wheels don't come with bolts so he needs to figure out the bolt length without the benefit of being able to measure the OEM bolts first.......besides, would the OEM bolts needed for the 209 and 203's be the same for a W210 (i.e. is the bite on the rotor the same)? If so, all he'll need to do is go to a dealer or wheelshop, find out the length of the OEM bolt that is normally used on a CLK or C, then use your method to figure out the bolt he needs for the spacer.......

stemags, I believe the E320 OEM 16" rims is 16x7.5 et41. That is what I had on my 98 E430. So using a 17X7.5 et37 pushes the wheel out by 4mm. Using a 10mm spacer reducing the offset of et27 would then push the wheel out a total of 14mm.

I used this offset calculator: http://www.mindspring.com/~toy4two/offset.html

FWIW, I have been told many times by true professionals NOT to run spacers on the front wheels.
Do as you like, it's your car.

Well,,Whitey has been a true help,as usual.Im gonna do the test tomorrow, send the lug bolt thru, see if it protrudes, check for rubbing, etc.I am not a fan of spacers as a rule myself,so if ET37 on that new AMG wheel looks as the OEM wheels look now(also ET37),then I wont go with spacers.
Kev,,thanks for the info and calc.
Im psyched and scared at the same time
