FS Feeler: 19" SL65 Wheels SoCal
I am through with buying used tires!
I bought a set of Michelin PS2 tires on eBay for my SL65 Wheels that I recently acquired and low and behold the sidewalls all have bubbles on them which renders them useless. I couldn't see the bubbles until they were mounted on the wheels and inflated.
I am going back to my 18" stock wheels as I am selling my E55 in the next 4-5 months to acquire a Nissan GT-R.
What does this mean?
I have for sale a set of FOUR Authentic Mercedes Benz AMG Style IV "SL65" 19" wheels with Charcoal finish.
The wheels are staggered (19 x 8.5 F, 19 x 10R) I bought them from a San Diego "highline" used car dealer that put a set of 20" HREs on a SL65 they were selling. One of the rear wheels had a small crack on the inner lip that I had repaired by US Wheel, a reputable wheel repair shop that Discount Tire fully employs and endorses, here in San Diego. I also had US Wheel completely straighten and mirror polish the barrels and lips of all four wheels while the small crack was repaired. The wheels balance perfectly and the repair site has been polished as well, it is unnoticeable when mounted on the car.
The wheels and tires were installed on my W211 E55 for a month and I drove maybe 50 miles on the tires before I decided that my life was too valuable to ride on the worthless used tires with bubble sidewalls.
The faces of the wheels have small scratches here and there. The lips are polished to perfection!
I am offering the wheels for $2500 or best offer. I am sure all MBWORLD members know how much these cost brand new or even used, so I won't repeat it. I also know these wheels are used and repaired. I am willing to negotiate to a fair price, but I am also aware of the time and money I have spent to acquire these wheels.
The tires are USELESS, so please do not think you can use them! I can get them dismounted if you want.
I am located in South San Diego County. I prefer local pick up, I will deliver to Orange County and LA if the price is right.
I have some pictures here with me at work, but I will post more later. If you need a particular picture or angle please PM me.
Again, please send all offers. I am starting my R35 GT-R fund so all $$$ is good money to me.

Yes, the last picture is the repair site.
US Wheel cut the section a bit further than the cracks length then welded it, then they polished the area on my request. This is the industry standard way to repair such damage.
Group 5 Motorsport and to my knowledge all Discount Tires in San Diego County use US Wheel to repair, refurbish and refinish their customer wheels.
Their website: http://www.uswheelremanufacturing.com/
The tires I have on there are 255/35-19 and 285/30-19 Pilot Sport 2.
The tires are not usable, hence me selling the wheels.

You gusy got me curious so I looked.
Low and behold the rears are 19 x 9.5 (ET31 offset)!
The 19 x 10 rear was an option on both the SL65 and SL55 Performance Package.
The wheels are actually 19 x 8.5 ET30 (front) and 19 x 9.5 ET31 (rear) as shown on the back of the wheels.
These are Standard OEM SL65 fitment.
The wheels will fit al SL, CLS and W211 E-class.
The front p/n is: A 211 400 1202/A 171 400 0302
The rear p/n is: A 211 400 1402/A 171 400 0402

Nice Wheels
I'm really not in the market for wheels for my SL, but I do like yours better then my 18" stock AMG's. If in the end your still holding these wheels, I will pay you $1,500 cash for the entire set. Let me know. I'm in LA and will cruise down and pick them up.
