FS: So cal mercedes 18" staggered alphards

My dad didn't want them and I do not have enough ***** to run these on my daily driven MKV GTI, so they are going up for sale.

Specs: Fronts are 18x8.5 et35 & Rears are 18x9.5 et40... center caps are included, but you will need to buy cheap hub rings to be hubcentric.

All wheels are structurally perfect, no bends/cracks nothing. But on one of the rear wheels there is a a section of rash and a piece the size of a penny on the lip where the chrome peeled.

Asking 1,000 OBO picked up in Monrovia CA. Not looking to ship ATM.

Excuse the horrible cell phone pictures.

Shiny!

Wheel with cosmetic damage stated above:

Open to trades for any other 14mm lug hole size merc wheels plus cash on your end. No tires unless they are 225/40/18 or 225/45/17 or smaller.

1) You might want to search for requests on MBW for this style wheel.
2) Chrome is not OEM and therefore the wheel has been weakened due to the process.
3) Based on 1) & 2) above requesting trade + $$ may not be possible - maybe on VAG type forum.

HTH

Thanks for the help! I have seen these chrome go for 1100 or more, but without the little rash/peel my one wheel has. I have this on a VAG forum as well, but a lot of guys are scared to run 9.5 et40 when oem is 8.0 et50.

Thank you for your input I will definitely check the request; also that is interesting I thought Chrome was an OEM option, but I guess it is just popular because I see a lot of these in chrome vs. polish.

Once again, thank you

Gotcha, yah they must have been dipped because the are definitely OEM (all the marks on the spokes)...did they ever make a aftermarket replica of these? If you can/want to answer feel free to PM me if you would like so you don't have to bump my thread lol.

You're welcome. If you still have them by the time tax returns show up I might be interested in taking them off your hands...you shouldn't have a hard time selling them though. I always lusted after alphards - want to molest them with gloss black windows and a flat black face for my 210

That sounds awesome... I will probably still have them. So many flakers so far, not on this forum but on others.
