Near Flawless Forgestar F14s 18x9 and 18x10 Gunmetal

I had these Forgestars on my SL55 for only two months when I decided to upgrade to a set of HRE 847rs. They are the first generation F14s that were rated at 1,200 lbs but tested higher. More information on that topic is available in this thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-2010-c63.html. I had no issues running them on my SL55.

Wheels sizes are as listed in the title: 18x9 front and 18x10 rear. I ordered 1/2" larger than the OEM AMG wheels so that I could mount wider tires in the future if I wanted. Offsets were determined by Forgestar and not shared with me. I measured them today at 25mm front and rear. Given I was measuring by hand, that could be off by a few mm.

They will definitely fit most R230s: SL500, SL550, SL55, SL600, and SL63. Not sure about SL65s and SL55s and SL63s with the 030 performance package that uses the larger 390 mm front rotors.

The wheels also have a reasonable chance of fitting C, CLK, and E class cars although they are wider than the OEM wheels and you might need to use a spacer to clear the inner fender or roll the outer fender to avoid rubbing. If you live close to Ann Arbor, MI and want to do a trial fit on your car, I'll happily make that happen.

The condition of the wheels is honestly near flawless, with no bends or curb rash. Medium resolution photo below. PM me with your email address if you'd like to see a set of high resolution 3504x2336 photos.

Price is just $999 shipped and insured in the lower 48.

No, I haven't posted them on Ebay. At least not yet. Maybe in a couple of weeks if they don't sell here.

Wow, winning bid on that auction was $1,425 + $200 shipping!

Maybe I should post them for sale there sooner rather than later!

I would take them but I'm not sure the rears would fit. The offset and the width might be too much. I will have to do a bit more research

My Mercedes wheel fitment chart says an 18x8.5 ET 25 and 18x10 ET 25 is a standard fitment for a W210. If that's true, these wheels should fit your car without much of a problem.

If you PM me with your email address I'd be glad to send you a copy of the chart.

Also if you want to do a trial fit, we can make that happen. It's an easy drive from Farmington Hills to Ann Arbor.

My wheel fitment chart says 18x8.5 ET 30 and 18x9.5 ET 18 is a standard fitment for a W209. If that's accurate, these wheels should fit but unfortunately there's no way to do a trial fit since we're too far distant.

If you PM me with your email address, I'll send you the fitment chart.

Just to close the loop on this, I didn't receive a lot of interest in these wheels back in August and September so I decided to keep them and use them with my my cold weather tires.

I drive my SL in Michigan in the winter but only on dry roads, so my challenge is the cold rather than snow and ice.

I bought a set of Conti Extreme Contact DWS all season tires rather than true snow and ice tires. The DWS tires are great...much stickier than my summer tires when the temperatures drop below 50F.

The Forgestars are great, too: about 10 lbs lighter per wheel than the AMG Style V's that I had been running.

Good info. The temp here is starting to drop below 50F and my Hankooks aren't riding like they used to. I was actually looking into the Pirelli Winter 240 Sottozero Serie II with the F14's.

They would fit a 211 but no longer for sale, sorry. I'm using them for my winter wheels.

If you keep an eye out in this forum you'll probably be able to find another set before too much time goes by.
