FS: Drag wheel / tire combo
Putting up forsale my 18" drag wheel and tire combo, hopefully someone here can enjoy them as much as I did.
I used these on my 2006 S65, stance was great, no rubbing...however...I did have to trim the "lip" off of the brake dust shield. It just *barely* was touching the wheel. Easy to do and probably would not have to be done on any of the other Mercedes due to a smaller rear brake.
This setup worked great, really a must have if you want to hit the track...you all know a normal street tire cannot take the torque![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Tires:
MT 265/40/18: ~1yr old and I would say ~12 passes and probably 500 street miles. You can see in the pictures, but they is plenty of tire left![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Wheels:
MB Wheels Essen 18X9.5 5x112 45mm
Silver Machined Face
Note: I had to buy shorter wheel bolts, so they will be included.
Wheels are in great shape and are also ~1yr old. The whole setup was around $1000 last year.
I would like to get $750+ shipping, but will entertain offers from the MB members.
Best,
Jay

The offset is 45mm.
I think your CLS has a 28mm offset...so to be safe, you'd probably need a decent sized spacer, to move them out. Unless there's a good amount of extra space on the inside of your rear wheels.

Not sure about the clk55...a quick search is showing it stock with an 8.5 rear wheel and 34 offset. These would really eat up alot of the inner clearance. But this is only from a quick search...
Jim - I'm certain of the offset, no need to guess
Looks like both wheels/tires shipped and insured to FL is $85 via FedEx.
