Gotta love when people back out of a sale
About 2 months ago I agreed to buy a set of wheels and tires from w231driver.
Went through the hassle of going to my local Benz store to "test fit" an identical set, which actually worked out.... I even posted pictures to which the seller said "looks good, send me your address & I'll let you know how much shipping is".
That's the last I heard from him!
Sent several PMs & emails, but nothing.... Totally MIA...
And it's too bad as I was really looking forward to installing them in the spring....

Tell me about it. I've been trying to buy OEM AMG wheels for a few months now and I don't want to get them shipped to me. The only good wheels I can find are in a city 6 hours away from me. I agreed to a good deal on some AMG wheels on craigslist that had bad curb rash on one of the wheels, and I had cleared out an entire weekend schedule to head down there and make a vacation with my GF out of the 6 hour drive. The day before I leave, he tells me the deals off and another buyer in seeing the wheels that same day.
I ask him if the sale when through after the weekend passed and he said no...I asked what day was best to come buy them and he never replied...
I really want the wheels but the seller is so sketchy...
I hope we both get the wheels we want soon

I feel ur pain homie, it happened to me once when I was looking for some 19's AMG multispokes wheels.. I agreed with the seller who lives in MTL & then I sold my 18's AMG 5 spokes but the seller in MTL backed out even though I gave him a deposit so I ended up being out of oem wheels for few months til I found another set. 
I ended up getting a PM from a nice member who just purchased his C63 & was going to do a BS conversion. So his set was brand new, so I was glad I ended up waiting.
Fast forward to today, I'm selling my set in the same brand new condition I got them for cuz I never used them since it was my spare set.
I believe in karma, I'm sure u will find the right set someday, this wasn't meant to be so let it be.. U will find a better set I'm sure.
I ended up getting a PM from a nice member who just purchased his C63 & was going to do a BS conversion. So his set was brand new, so I was glad I ended up waiting.

Hi R-Dub, those were actually for my brother as he was looking to get an E63 and wanted winter tires... He ended up not buying it.. Lol

I'm selling a slightly used set of 19's AMG multi-spokes with oem Yokos AVS tires, the set are mint as they were taken off from a brand new C63 when I bought them. I think I can say they have 2k km max.
I'm also including spacers & longer lugs & locks in the deal. PM me if u are interested, I can email u pics. I can even bring them to u in MTL since u are not far. Lol
