FUEL LEAK
good day all, i own a C230 sport 2004, i am newbie here. just wanted to share my experience in my STEALER-SHIP. i went in there last couple of days for a service A work, but then they told me that they have to change the camshaft solenoid valve, but it's ok because it is under service recall or something. so they did the work, they told me they have to replace the vacuum pump, serpentine belt, engine harness(i dont even see that they replaced the harness on my bill).. which all comes down to $1100 + $35 rental/loaner. so, i went to pick up my car yesterday like they told me, only to find out that i have to wait for 2hrs for it and the worst is the inside of the car smelled gasoline, so i told my wife and 2 kids to get out of the car. i backed up the car and found theres a fuel leak under. i called my SA and he told me that they havent tighten the fuel hose inside the hood!! i mean, are you freakin serious??? i was going to drive home with my family and you're telling me that??!! so, they kept the car for another day( total of 5 days for service A + service recall). should i demand for a discount? talk to the service manager? need some advice from you guys. BTW the dealership is at Mercedes Benz of San Diego (kearny mesa).
thank you and hoping for your comments.

I would demand that they not charge you for the loaner car! Other than that, it seems that you got what you paid for (in stealership terms)

I would have the car picked up and deliverd back to you aswell as a free rental car brought to you. also call the GM, mbusa and bbb. had to do this many times myself.
