Peydidys C230 coupe

Time to start a build thread for the coupe! I haven't really done much modding to it since I got it but the mod bug has been hitting me recently so I decided to start a build thread for it and start modding it a bit more. Heres the story behind the car:

I bought the 2002 C230 Kompressor coupe from another forum member (kirax2). He posted his car on the forum for sale and I flew to vegas the next day were he lived and bought the car off him. The car already had some Bilstein PSS9 coilovers on it with Sport Edition KV5 18inch wheels, and Mattig Grille painted in pewter. Other then those things it was pretty much stock. The week after getting the car I replaced the EIS which cost me a lot so I let off on the modding for a bit and focused my time and money more on my c230 sedan. The car has been great so far, its alot different then the sedan even though you would think it would be similar. Heres some pics of the car, mods to come! I just ordered a coupe of goodies tonight, stay tuned

Awesome color on that coupe. Ever consider bronze rims?

Thanks! and I haven't even though about new wheels for this car, been putting most of my money and time into the sedan, but now that its time to change this car up I might change the wheels. I like the current wheels but I really want something wider in the rear thats staggered.

Can't wait to see what you do with your coupe man! Your SS looks so good, I'm sure the coupe will end up super clean too. Although it is already started. Just lowering these makes a huge difference in the look.
You planning on doing some performance upgrades as well?

Thanks! and ya I agree the coupes look alot different on stock ride height, I am going to most likely do some stuff for looks, then move towards some audio. I want to make everything I do easy to undo just incase something goes wrong with the car that makes it not affordable to fix (knock on wood that doesn't happen) so most likely I wont really be going for to much performance mods. Hows your coupe going btw? anything new since I last saw it?

I like the coupe alot, it feels like a go cart around fast turns on the coils. Its a cool car in my opinion. I need to get the tie rod fixed soon. I cant drive the car in the rain either. The car just slips and slides everywhere. Probably because the tires are sh*ty, but summers around the corner so I am just going to use these tires until next year when it starts raining and get new tires then (or when the tread gets to low on the current tires which ever comes first obviously). Getting a oil change done to it later this month. Still thinking about what else to do to it, I just wish it was a manual

YES! that thing is dope, you should get me it and we will be equal for the EIS going out the week I bought your car
That things dope though, I think it would look nicer on a sedan. I wish the sedan bumpers would fit on the coupe, I would buy one of garys face lifted sedan bumpers for the coupe if they would fit. O well.

Either tint the tails or get updated W203 ones or S class ones; the pink looks awful against the burgundy, don't you think?

Did you get OEM Bix??

Nawh there depos
The S class ones wouldn't fit on the coupe
But ya I feel you on the pink and burgundy thing, I just don't know what kind of tint style I would go with. I don't want to do a really dark tint on the hole tail light because I don't think that would look to great. I really want 05 Tails but I cant find any, as soon as I come upon some at a fair price I will get them, they seem like there hard to come buy though
