6.3 PERFORMANCE TIPS!
whats up everyone, i just want to let everyone know that i dont own a c63, but i own a e63, my w211 buddies told me that the c63 forum is here its at if im looking for mod help. lol im NEW to modding
FIRST OFF, what do yall suggest i should do to gain maximum power?
also, i planned to delete my resonator and secondary cats for better sound, but i hear it sets off the check engine light, so idk what to do.
i was considering just deleting my resonator, and leaving my cats alone, but idk what im suppposed to replace with where the resonator used to be.. any help? or any suggestions on making it sound better?
like i said im new to modding, i tried to search but couldnt really find what i was looking for
im open to all opinions, ideas, and suggestions!
and thanks in advance, we gotta lets these 6.3's show these 5.5 up, i could use all the help i get...

Not much available tune, LTH, air intake, supercharger? Not much more that'll make you faster, and not sure if the e63 platform will be able to show the e55 platform anything?

dude i personally think you bought the wrong car lol.
im starting to see what some members have said, your post are a bit out of the ordinary (not to say something else) but that being said, this is not your regular honda civic or race car, bc the car packs something great, it does not makes it a race car, its just a plus to all the other options and special things that makes the car a much nicer ride than your avg benz or any other car out there.
no disrespect with my post but i think you should start just a savings account bc anything out there is obvious more than what you can afford right now, specially if you modify the car and loose your warranty.
but that being said, there is tons of info in the E-class forum and if not use the search button, it works wonders.

Honestly, for the time being you might just be better off getting some R compound tires, deleting the resonator and/or secondary cats and calling it a day. Modding a naturally aspirated engine can become a very expensive endeavor! What is your budget?

thats more than enough if you are 20. im not that much older than you but i wont spend 15k on my car, i rather spend 30k on my race bikes, now those are some fast rides

So far the only way to "flash" the ECU in a C63 is to remove it from the car (which will show up if they check) and open it up (which can be visually detected if they look). However if they don't bother to check, you can skate by. The question is it worth the risk. A few tuners are trying to figure out how to crack the ECU by flashing through the OBD2 port without leaving finger prints. So far I don't know any that have succeeded.

Just get a tune from Powerchip for $500 and remove the 2nd cats (replace with straigh pipes). If that's not enough, ask again and someone will point you in the right direction.
