Thanks ACGSD...
Yo-yoing between CA and NV I made the trip down to ACGSD to have H&R coilovers installed. The shop was fully booked but James was kind enough to juggle several appointments out of the way to accommodate my tight schedule, so he could get right to work on my car as soon as I arrived late morning. About four hours later I had a new suspension as well as a CF diffuser installed and was on my way to Vegas
I'm always a little nervous when a new (to me) shop goes to work on my car but I have nothing but great things to say about James, Peter and the crew at ACGSD...it was one of my best service experiences, ever.

Very typical of the great service they usually give.
Its nice to see people scheduling with a little cushion rather than having 10 cars to do in a 6 car day.

James was great when he flew out to VA to install my Renntech ELM V3. Even though i purchased a V2, Renntech sent him a V3 and I got installed in my car at no extra charge. I felt bad cause it was 40degrees outside @ 9am when he was doing it :-)

As James will attest to, alignment was a real concern of mine prior to driving back and we were planning to take the car to the shop they use for a quick check of specs. Considering that we didn't do anything radical with the drop and that James test drove the car and then tweaked some settings before turning the keys over to me, I decided just to hit the road and forgo the alignment check. Good decision, as it was abundantly clear that no alignment was immediately necessary...the car passed every quick test I gave it before jumping on the 15. It felt instantly better in steering/tracking/straight-line hands-off freeway cruising than the OE P30 suspension and my opinion has only gotten more positive about the benefits.
Late next week I will swing back through S.D. for final adjustments if necessary and then align it there. FWIW the ride of the H&R's is softer and better-damped than the P30 but with lots of control. For a street setup it's perfect, the harsh impacts are gone and there are no tradeoffs, only positives. I was originally planning on getting the KW V3's but so far I'm glad I started here.
