Touched up the garage awaiting my c63
UPDATE: Floor teaser pic post #10
So, some of you may have seen my thread regarding my monitors. The car has a Kleeman tune on it which inhibits the monitors from being set. So, the ecu is being sent out to be retuned and hopefully good to go there.
However, I started to get impatient and with that came a little project. I recently got out of the Marines and bought a house. With that comes the household projects that you slowly accomplish. Here are some before and during pictures of the progress made in the garage! No after pictures yet, one more detail in store
All the white spots including that huge white square were there before me. That big square actually used to be like a quark board.
In the process of taking the quark board apart
And now, after a fresh bit of paint, the place looks completely new!
Last but not least, the project supervisor
As mentioned previously this is still a work in progress. Just taking a small break right now and hoping the weather clears up a bit. When all is said and done and the c63 gets here I'll take some good pictures all settled up!

Thank you. I think my favorite part has yet to come. Maybe I can make it happen by tonight or by tomorrow.
Unfortunately it is looking like the c63 wont be happening, however, until the end of next week. On the plus side the wheels and tires I got for it should be here ready to go on!

So it is pretty much done. I just have a little tile to go where the garage door is. The hard part was the floor wasn't level and made it awkward sort of. You'll see what I mean when I get finished pictures. I love how it looks though, just hard to be very enthusiastic at the moment because my back, knees, and thumbs are killing me.
C63 is probably a week and a half out. At least it'll come tinted, lowered, and with a kleeman tune. Maybe wheels too? We shall see

Somehow I thought you might go with the checkered floor.

^Ah get out of my head!!! I actually played around with a bunch of different thoughts, but I like this. To me it is a classic type look.
Project is probably 90-95% complete. Back at it tomorrow.

Im jealous of the bigger garage that you have and how it seems to be flat enough to do the tiles perfectly.
Thanks for all the comments. C63 picks inside coming as soon as the car does!
Maybe I'll throw a finished pic up anyway with the bmw inside

Today, I ripped up the whole thing to redo it because it finished up awkwardly at the garage door. Looks much better now. I'm in bed, sore, so no pics yet

Only winners keep on after they fail
I think the worst part for me is, contemplating whether you should, and at what point you actually start...
Can't wait to see the new floor when your done. Take your time it will be worth it in the end.

^Yea, just changed my mind after the last tile was practically put down. The good news is at first I was seeing how well the "stick on tiles" would actually stick. They dont. So that made the decision easy because they practically popped right up. Now they are held down with liquid nails and not going anywhere.
Should wrap it up tomorrow.
Did the garage, wheels on the way, now I just need the damn car!

Almost done. Just have to paint and put in the step at the door, put a 4'' weather strip around the base of the floor, and add some logos to the walls.
