Member intro + installed ROW airbox and some other goodies!
Hey guys i picked up the C63 Aug 1st and today the modding officially started! Here was my B8 S4 that i sold to pick up the C63. I was running the GIAC stage 2 software as well as AWE pulley and pretty much everything you could possibly do to the car besides upgrading the supercharger. I definitely miss it but at the same time i don't.

I flew out to Albuquerque, NM and drove the beast back and let me tell ya it was probably the most beautiful yet terrifying drive considering you were canyon driving majority of the way and it was raining etc

I received my ROW airbox today as well as smoked side markers, afe drop in filters, and aznoptics 5k eyebrow LED's. All i can say is the ROW airbox + drop in filters are definitely worth it... i'm still surprised how much more responsive the car is as well as how the car changed in tone. I also love the fact that by changing just the side marker and eyebrow bulbs how it changed the look.

Welcome !!!
Nice S4 you had. What model year? And how much power were you putting down?
To be honest I was kind of surprised when I saw the pre-FL C63. I was expecting at least a FL. I'm pretty sure you are missing the audi interior?

Thanks! My 2011 S4 Premium Plus with 30k miles only KBB'ed for $33k bone stock so i sold the car for $40k with all the mods. A 2012 C63 with 21k miles goes for $48k (looking on autotrader) which was way out of my price range, and for some reason i think the 2008-2011 C63's look a lot more aggressive which i love!

Thanks! I was just bored of it and because it's so hot here in PHX forced induction is useless during the summer. Plus i've always loved the tone of a V8!
You have good taste and clearly know how to mod. I look forward to seeing your progress on your new acquisition. I think you picked the best color.
My car is bone stock so I won't try to act like I know, but I have to say one thing in the beginning of your journey. Get a baseline dyno of the car first. Performance modifications seem to yield little to no real hp performance gains and I've read in multiple threads about adding this and that without knowing where they started. I would also speculate that there are MANY companies that produce this intake, that exhaust, and this tune in hopes to lure AMG wallets willing to spend and take their word for "claimed" results that do nothing above what the engineers at AMG already made awesome. It really irritates me too.

That Audi was nice! Love the silver arrow too! I got my ROW boxes last week too from Weistec. Looking forward to installing them with the new filters. Welcome to the AMG family and MBWorld forum.

That is one of the nicest S4 I've seen!! Welcome to the AMG family!! I've already checked out a couple '12 S4's for my wife's daily, but have yet to decide on the color. One is a moon grey and the other black. Seeing your S4 makes my choice easier

Great looking car! Welcome to the new addiction
Judging from the S4, you have great taste. Cant wait to see what you do with the new beast.

That did not occur to me and makes sense. You had me baffled.
