Not sure what version my C63 is. Help please...
Hi to everyone. I just picked up my 2013 C63 this past weekend so not sure where I need to be in the forum pages. It has a build date of 3/2013, so does that say anything?
I want to get some upgrades done because I want to run the Texas Mile in October, and the recent test run had the car top out at 160 before the speed limiter kicked in. Also looking for info on air filters, wheels, better headlamp bulbs, and just basic stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Wheels - hard to say but depends on your price range and style you prefer.
Headlight bulbs - Does your C63 have just the halogen headlights or the bi xenon lights? It sounds like just the halogen in which case you can always upgrade to an HID kit or install Depo projectors https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w204/579240-diy-depo-projector-install.html.
Air filters - no experience on.

You have a W204 C63 if this is what you are asking for?
So congrats on the purchase and enjoy in good health!!
By the way if you hit the search button you might find some useful information. But it never hurt to ask

Thanks for the input. I just posted a new topic specifically for what I am looking for. I hope to get some great input there. Thanks again.

I think the Welcome Kit was migrated in the last database update. It's now in W204 -> C63 -> Section F -> Subsection d2.13b

I just spoke with Nick at Eurocharged and got some good info. They have quite a few of the tuning kits as they received another order, so you still have time. I would like to hear from someone who has the tune before I put the money down just so I can hear their thoughts on it. If all looks good I'll order.
I also wanted to know about the ROW boxes. I know nothing about them, but would like to know if they make a noticeable difference, or is it just minimal? And are the dry filters that much better than the K&N wet filters?
Thanks again and looking forward to lots of good info from you guys. And gals.

The row boxes are not worth it from what I've read, the price/gain just isn't there. If you were to upgrade to headers or something similar..sure, the rows would be a useful addition.

Took this from your other post. Go with the V5 tune from Eurocharged. It is simply amazing. It will bump your hp/torque and give you an absolutely amazing sound. I've had the tune for a couple months now and couldn't be happier. Also their customer service is top notch, they respond back very quickly.
