2016 Coupe Posted on MB USA Site
Guess this means the E coupe as we know it today will be redone for 2017. The only major differences I was able to see was that the 2016 E400 has the AMG sport package. That essentially makes the car have an E550 design look without the V-8. Also, for both the E550 & E400 the option are now grouple in big packages. Need to start thinking about anohter trip to Germany to pick up the new 2017 E coupe.

~$900 price bump on an outgoing model? Grand scheme its not a large sum, but seems a little non-sensical. And the packages are awful...there are things included in Package 3 that I would have paid $500-1500 for in smaller buckets, but would never drop $4090 for. All-in-all, '16 Ecoupe may not be the next car for me at these prices.

Some odd combinations in the options packages. At least for me. I would have thought they would have been grouped them a bit differently. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about this for quite a while.

I ordered my 2014 as soon as the faclift was announced and at the time, most of the options like keyless-go and cooled seats, etc. were al la cart. now everything is packaged in 3 major groups.
Prices can add up quick for an outgoing car. Offering the 2016 model already is telling me the newly designed coupe will be out in late 2016/ early 2017.

2015 E550 Coupe
I just took delivery of my E550 Coupe last month. I had no idea the 2016s were a month away from introduction. I think the MY16 is identical to mine. Not a lot of E550 Coupes to chose from in Western U.S. I had to fly from Boise to San Jose to take delivery of the one I wanted, blue with the beige and brown interior.
I think I may have one of few, if not the only E550 Coupe in all of Idaho. This is pickup truck country.
I love the car.

Wait till you see the 2016 C63AMG S Coupe. 502 twin turbo HP.
It's peaked my interest. Can't get the 4Matic though. Dual clutch auto. No torque converter. 0-60 3.7. The review said that the big issue is keeping the rear wheels planted.

Yes it looks like it's going to be a really great car. Can't see wanting to have 4Matic on it though. Wouldn't that kind of be defeating the whole purpose of owning a AMG though? That is unless you live in an area with really bad winters. I mean the 4Matic would somewhat restrict it in terms of acceleration times for folks buying the C63 to track.

Back in February I posted, Pull ahead 2015 E550C or order 2016 - as I was waffling on waiting for a 2016 E550 coupe as much info out there pointed to V8 TT being dropped in 2016 in favour of a high HP V6 TT.
So with many supporting comments I received here to go with the 2015, I did. I'm in Ontario Canada and my rep in Markham indicated late May delivery for my 2015C
Then by chance I too dropped by the MBUSA site - and whoa - I see 2016 E Sedans and coupes. I go to the MB Canada site - I search my dealers inventory online and they have 2016 E sedans and a couple of E400 V6 TT coupes in stock.
I'm thinking...they have 2016s in stock and I'm still waiting for my 2015?
Immediately call my rep and he tells me, oh yeah you will be getting a 2016 E550C - and not to worry about incentives and pricing, you are covered.
So the 2016 E550 C has the V8 TT after all - and according to the Canada site, the packages have not changed for 2016 (contents or pricing) The car price has been increased by $300 CDN
Can't see any differences at all between 2015 and 2016 E550C
Guess I'll find out when it shows up - It was built May1 and I have a VIN now

Canada is different than U.S. The price has changed on the U.S MB site for a E550c, and the options are packaged differently. Depending on which options you want, the new packages can add up to quite a bit more over 2015 pricing. See my post above. There is still a E550 V8TT for 2016 here, but that may change come any 2017 refresh.
I often compare the Canada and US MB sites to see how differently they package the options. I do see the US 2016 option packages are quite different from 2015 and you are right, they sure add up quickly over the 2015 packages.
Canada kept the option packages the same price and same contents -just the car went up $300 CDN.
Also - for the first time in a while MB Canada website a link during the build web pages that you can download to see all features - not just a summary. I was after this as I wanted to see what changed or was taken away for 2016 - attached
