FRACK! The slow leak in my tire was a nail in the sidewall!
So I had a very slow leak. Just a couple of PSI every couple of days.
But since I was getting ready to go out of town, I figured I would get it fixed so my wife would have no concerns if she needed the GL.
I'm thinking rim leak or bad valve stem.
But NOoooooooooo
Well, #^%@@%$&^%&^ %$@$#$$%& $@#$$#@*&#$!!!
The slow leak is a small nail in the sidewall where it can't be fixed.
There goes $650 I really did not want to spend!

Bridgestone Runflats in 275/50/20 are only about $250 each, and I find them better than the $500 Goodyears. If you're anywhere near Northern/Central Ca, I've got a couple extras with 95%+ tread (factory takeoffs with a few hundred miles) that I'd let go for $200/ea

I am not on Run-Flats.
These are just the normal 275/55-19., but the set is about 2/3 worn, so not bad enough to just say "Oh well" and buy 4 tires, but not good enough to just buy 1 tire.
Actually, I just remembered the previous owner mentioned he has a warranty, so the bad tire will get replaced "free" ("Free" means Mounting $17 and new warranty $33. Still better than $280) but I have to buy the second tire, so it will probably be only about $400 out of pocket.

Almost decided to pick up a use pair off ebay to save a few dollars, but went with the new tires.
