Aftermarket Wheels 19 or 20in???
Hey guy's just purchased an 05 E55 and wanted to change the wheels and tires. I am not planning on lowering the car so what wheel size will look and ride the best. I know the 20 will look better and the 19 will ride better because of tire wall. Also thinking about performance I'm a 1/4 mile guy so is it easier to get a sticky tire in 19 vs 20? I used to have a ford lightning and moving up to a 20in we couldn't get a drag radial bigger than a 18in, but I think now they offer them in a 20? Also do I need a drag radial on the rear or is there a tire you guy's are using that hooks up good. I was told to stay away from the PS2'S because they are noisey? Does anyone know the weight of the stock wheels? Thanks C.

If you're into drag racing then I would stay away from 20s. You will lose some time in the 1/4 mile stepping up from 19s to 20s.

Thanks so if I go with the 19's do I need to run a drag radial on the rear and a different on front or is there a tire that will work for traction that I can run all around?

Okay what about proper offset for the 19" on a 04 E55? I checked out my Brabus VI's to another car and I think they were inset too far, not sure what spacers the shop used...
