Found a replacement after I sold my beloved e55
2012 V Coupe, Auto and I have slowly started to customize the exterior to my tastes. Next up is lowering springs and a 6 gallon trunk tank. She came with some nice forgestars , 20x12 in the rears with 325-25-20

Wow. Nice. Did you used to have a Svt mustang? Sometimes it's nice to try new things. After 15 years the Ls Chevy motors got really boring. Hope u stick around here. I value your experience and knowledge..

Definitely will be posting a lot, still love the AMG. Not sure what I will be doing with the car HP wise, but will march it into the 10s this spring.

I don't see too many coupes around here. Looks mean. Besides mine I haven't seen another E55 here in years. Indiana sucks.

My guess is you will easily be in the 10's with that car. I predict 10.82 at 130mph. Just add a 100 shot on a blower plate and I bet you might sneak into the 9's.

Congrats! I'm not a fan of Cadillac, but I was very close to buying a CTS-V wagon with the Canepa body kit since they're fairly local to me and was for sale a couple of months ago.
Now the upcoming CTS-V looks great, but won't come in a wagon...

I would kill for that car. The guy who bought it ended up getting it for a steal; something like 15-20k off asking price, because they couldn't move it for the ridiculous asking price.

Eh. I think the E55 was better looking. I'm going to keep saying that till I sell mine. The electronics are just dated.
I dig the exterior mods though. How does the overall experience compare?

The tranny shifting in sport mode yanks your neck back lol. Regular driving it is smooth and precise, so far I like it bro.
My e55 delivery of power was more raw, you could really feel the speed under heavy acceleration, whilst in this car you cannot as much. In stock form this things suspension is super stiff, and when you put the suspension in sport mode, you feel every bump. It definitely corners on rails compared to the E55 in that aspect. Both cars share alot of similarities, both are TQ monsters and suffer from similiar heat soak issues.
Thanks for the kind words fellas btw!

well craig luckily they make nice intercooler tanks at a super fair price and heat exchangers and superchillers all at a fair price. if you get on ctsv owners forums even with tuning they will share lots of information on tuning. With Mercedes stuff its a huge secret and in reality there is no secret other then gm guys no way more about making power.

Great choice on the cts-v. I think it is a great bang for the buck, with mod prices more reasonabLe and easier to make faster. I would have gotten a V wagon instead of the AMG wagon but in 2005 there was only the AMG wagon. Keep us posted on the mods on your new ride!
