2015 E63 AMG Humiliates C7 Corvette at the Drag Strip
The new C7 Corvette is a very fast car. It’s a true sportscar. It only has two seats, only the rear wheels are driven, and there’s a V8 up front. It’s a brilliant machine made to take on the rest of the world and beat them at their own game. But what happens when the tables are turned? What happens when the rest of the world comes to the drag strip and goes up against the best of American muscle?
Well, according to the video below, the tables seem to have been turned. Here we have a new C7 Corvette going head to head against a new Mercedes E63-S AMG at the drag strip. Now the Corvette is lighter, but the Mercedes has AWD and more horsepower. Let’s take a look then discuss.
That’s right, the Mercedes humiliates the American born muscle car at its own game. While Chevy’s engineers have been striving for a car that can compete with the rest of Europe, it seems that the European’s have been diligently working on something that can compete with the Americans.
