M120

Oh how we love reveling in the sound of menacing horsepower — especially when it includes a few heavyweights from the Mercedes engineering team.

Just wait ‘til you hear these things roaring, as shown in the video below, posted by VisioRacer.

The ten-minute clip is more specifically focused on highlighting the 15 best sounding V12 engines. But most here will probably find themselves zeroing in on the 1:23 mark, the 2:34 mark, and the 7:24 mark, which is where you get a dose of what Mercedes offers in the V12 space.

The Mercedes engines featured include the M120 available as a 6.0 – 7.3 liter with 400 – 800 horsepower as showcased in the Pagani Zonda. Then there’s the M275 with an output range of 604 – 670 horsepower, available in the SL65 CL65, S65, and G65 AMG. And finally they showcase the Mercedes 6.9 liter M120 featured in the CLK GTR.

Yup, even if you aren’t a die-hard Mercedes fan it’s hard not to be entertained hearing these engines rev in the wild.
