Cool Tech Thread: Aftermarket SL63 AMG Exhaust

New forum member aries is considering a new exhaust system for his Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG, but he has some concerns:

“Hey guys, I’m new here. I just bought a 2009 SL63 AMG. I was wondering if anyone here is running an aftermarket exhaust. If so what brand is it? I want to get a more aggressive noise, but I don’t want it to drone or be too obnoxious in the cabin. Thanks.”

Many people on the forum had great suppliers to suggest, but member sound 8 offered a different perspective:

“If you are worried about droning leave it as it is. The 2009 SL63 has the best and loudest stock exhaust already.”

I have to say it, sound 8 offers sound advice for exhaust sound.
