Frustrated G63 Owner Drops Truck from Sky to Put It Out of Its Misery

By -

One G63 owner got fed up with his troublesome rig, hooked it to a helicopter, and gave it one last ride.

We’ve all been frustrated with our cars at some point or another. Sometimes once you get one issue resolved, another one pops up. It’s enough to drive someone to destruction, and that’s what one Russian man did with his G63 AMG. The idea seems simple enough. Instead of selling the G-wagon and letting someone else suffer, he would put the vehicle out of its misery so it would never cause heartache again. And he’d do it via helicopter.

According to The Drive, Igor Moroz purchased his G63 in early 2018 and it has been wrought with problems during the time he has owned it. Did he get it fixed? No. Did he return the car and get his money back? No. Did he sell the car? No. He did what any Russian would do. He destroyed it. Moroz states, “I’m totally disappointed in this car, so I decided to ruin it.” At least that’s what we can gather from YouTube’s translated captions.

Now, there’s probably more (and less) environmentally friendly ways of destroying a truck than dropping it from a helicopter. But let’s face it, the humble act of donating a car just wouldn’t have the same amount of YouTube views.

Moroz had to venture into a remote part of Russia to pull off the stunt. Police heard of his plan for this stunt and deemed it was too dangerous to do in an urban area. Going to the outskirts was the only solution, but he finally made it happen.

“The day has come,” exclaims Moroz. But before the G63 AMG goes airborne, it is time for some final snowy donuts, of course. After a bit of fun, the truck gets strapped up and lifted by a helicopter. Being the jokester that he is, Moroz grabs a folding chair and some popcorn to watch the action.

Proud of his accomplishment, Moroz says, “this was my dream car. So I found the way to save up, worked hard, and bought it, and now I’m totally disappointed so now my G63 looks like this.” It may not have been our first choice for getting rid of a troublesome car, but you do you, Moroz.
