Tuned Titans: Mercedes SL65 AMG vs BMW M3

People bicker over which car is better, which car is faster, which car can turn in the best 0-60, et cetera, and so on. Arguing is fun, but when you really need to settle your differences, it’ll come down to drag race. In this case the battle is between two tuned speed demons from Mercedes and BMW.

Both have about 700 hp, but that’s where the similarities end. The SL65 is packing a V12 to the BMW’s V8, but in the end they’re both being fed by boost. While the Mercedes is doubtlessly heavier, it also has about a 50hp gain on the BMW. All things considered they’re a pretty even match. You’ll have to watch the video to see if AMG can outrun BMW’s M power.
