1985 mercedes-benz 190e 2.3 4 cyl AMG, rare sportline 5 speed, 30-35 mpg, full H&R Sport Cup Suspension, 17in alloy AMG wheels with new tires
Also does it get 30 to 35 mpg?

I don't see how the AMG motor will get a better MPG then the stock 4cyl. I also dont understand why the 4cyl get worse mpg then my 6? But maybe the fuel system is different since I have a 93.
A car is only worth what you are willing to pay for it.
Is the suspension pretty new? Thats not cheap to replace, how often are you planning on driving the car? What condition is the car in? Do you care about their heritage of this vehicle? Not that you have to, but to buy a 23 yr old car that is AMG and not really care doesn't make sense?
3 grand is a decent price for the vehicle if it runs well and the ac works and everything. I would see how much it is to fix the windows tho. might be more then you want to pay.
I guess it depends on if the car is worth 3 grand to him. Thats the thing with old cars, they might not KBB at 3 grand, but it might be worth it to him to buy that particular car.
Suspension wise, it came with lowering springs, sport struts/shocks and 15" alloys.
There were two bodykits, the standard and the widebody.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

ohlord
What are these cars, then?

BTW, Han Werner Aufrect's 190E 2.3L is supposedly at Richmond Mercedes in the Bay area. Ringo Starr's AMG 190E 2.3L is at the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgardt. AMG did provide a tuning package for the 2.5-16, better known as the AMG Powerpack. Is there anything else I can tell you about AMG tuning the W201? Oh yeah . . . I owned a 1984 2.3L 190E. Would you like to see the motor?
