Doesn't it suck that you keep your car in great shape, drive it responsibly.... but people won't buy it because your young and put alot of performance stuff in the car people get the image the car was abused. I'm 17, got a stock 2.6, keep it looking nice, let the foot get heavy sometimes, and it's all stock, not because it's "not" the right thing to do but because I can't afford it. Sometimes cars that are stock weren't given a damn for and are worse...... blah blah ok I'll stop.

It makes sense actually. Customizing a car is a highly personalized thing, so I can see where a person would rather buy a stock used one and then spend their own cash and time getting the car to what their vision is, not someone elses. In Perz's case, he'd either have to find a buyer that shared his vision (blackened) or saw some value in the parts that were added, either to keep or to resell.
