Do you know if they removed the side markers or just wrapped them in place, same for the grille star?

If you're talking maxton designs they aren't cheap. They build the carbon for mercedes as well as the majority of the supercar market. I just finished installing their full aero package and I have never seen such quality. Helps me justify the crazy price I paid for the kit. I do this to most of my cars I purchase but the maxton stuff was more than double the price of the past kits i have installed. Their stuff is even finished on the backside. The fit was absolutely perfect. I guess you get what you pay for.

Need some opinions, I installed the RC GT Black and the XLR5 car is running great however about 3 days ago a warning came up saying I needed to add 1 QT of oil, I checked the oil on the display and yep it showed it was low, since the car is new about 3400 miles I figured it probably was not full to the max from factory, so I added 1 QT and it showed right at Max, now today it is showing about 1/2 QT low on the display.

I removed all the covers from underneath and there is no a single drop of oil anywhere, I also checked the top the sides and there is no signs of leaks whatsoever, the car is not smoking lol, so my initial thought is that either the oil sensor is bad or the GT Black is causing a fault, not sure which one it is.

I swipe the exhaust tips and is a lot of black residue, maybe the GT , XLR settings are too agressive, and I drive it pretty hard lol

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Still shouldn’t lose so much in so short a time. I’d disconnect the chip and let them check it at the dealership

I think that I'll remove the RC and turn the XLR off, drive it for a few days and see what happens with the oil level, that way I can discard the posibilty of them been the culprit, if I keep loosing oil I'll take it to the dealer.
Thanks

The GT black is a piggy its not tied into the ecu at all; its "modifying" the boost level and thats it. Its something else for sure. The XLR is a pedal boost adjuster and again that wont tie into oil sensors.

Have you actually checked under the car where its parked to see if there are any drops or an undercarriage leak? My levels are all fine but I have less miles than you (but about 1400 miles with the mods- not sure how many you have with them).

I tooked all the covers off from underneath, there is no oil residue anywhere, bottom , sides or top, covers a clean.

I removed the GT and disabled the XLR, will take the car for a long drive today and see what happens, could be a bad oil sensor as well.

Indeed it is a PIA,
Things got weird, after removing the RC GT and disabling the XLR I went for an hour long drive, crazy thing is that the oil level in the display showed MAX, as in not needing any oil contrary to what I saw yesterday half way between Max and Min, I been driving the car in the service display since I got the initial warning of 1 QT low.

I enabled the XLR after 1 hr and drove an additional 30 minutes, still showing Max

I will connect the RC GT tomorrow and take it for a drive, I understand that no oil sensors are connected to to it, but unless I'm going loco , not sure wht changed besides disconnecting both the XLR and RC GT, the XLR seems to be ok based on 30 minutes of driving after 1 hr drive, still showing max.

More to follow.

Maybe that is the culprit for one's "oil leakage"?

Too soon?

I reconnected the RC GT, drove the car for over an hour, once the car warmed up the display showed needing 1/2 qrt for a dew seconds then it went to max and stay there after driving the car, I did push it a little with both the GT and XLR active and oil reading remained at max.

At this point I would called it a glitch lol but will continue to monitor the oil level on the display.
