Anyone know the part numbers for connectors on a COMMAND 2.0? (Richard)

I went to the dealer and gave them the following part numbers:

C Connector (male) A016 545 36 28
C1 Connector block A034 545 7526

but they said those parts were non-existent or not in the computers. Anyone know the correct part numbers? Thanks.

P.S. These are the connectors that go on the back of a COMMAND 2.0.

The second part:

C1 Connector block A034 545 7526

should say

C1 Connector block A034 545 7528

As for the C connector (male), I can't find that part either and I'm going to cut the wires. G' luck

Can you take pictures of the process and post them? Either way let us know how it goes.

Hello guys,

Go to this page, http://www.benzworld.org/gallery/sho...0&subname=John`s_E55&parentname=W210_E_Class , I took those pictures during my COMAND installation and part numbers are there too.

Hi

The C "male" connector is A016 545 36 26

You found the correct C1 part number already - looks like I had my 26 and 28 mixed up ...

Funky102,

You are looking for the C1 plug where the CD-changer switch wires go into right? It has 10 contact holes in it. Then this is what you need http://www.benzworld.org/gallery/pic...J5025009PM.jpg Let me know if this is correct.

Hi John,

I already have the C1 connector. I'm looking for the male C connector so that I don't have to cut the wires from the female C connector attached in the car. This female C connector plugs into the old stock radio.

I wish I had pictures but let me try with a diagram.

Car-----(wire)-----(C female connector) -----> (C male socket, part of stock radio)

What I want to do is...

Car----(wire)----(C female connector) ----> (C male connector)----(wire)-----(going to C1 and C2 connectors)(into COMAND)

The "----->" indicate "plugging in"

Hope this clears everything up.... I get confused myself sometimes when I explain it.

I have just been to my UK dealer and asked about this part [rather than looking on connectors that I have, or are on cars]

Its never been ordered in the UK before, so they checked with Germany and the part does exist (but Germany are out of stock)

Sounds like you need to tell your dealer to order it , and then it will appear. I imagine your dealer has just not ordered a part that hasnt been ever shipped to the US before
