I want to replace the original head tape deck fot somethinh that has CD in it but what will fit without changing the speakers and CD changer.

you can get the original mercedes Audio 10 for your e class. Ask steve for it. He should be able to help you.

Now I am trading in my 98 and need to take out all of the gear that is there. I didn't have to cut anything an have an audiofile level system:

Nakamichi CD45z - Amber illumination matches interior perfectly

-2 - Arc Audio amps - 1 for front speakers at 100wpc and 1 bridged at 400w for sub

-Focal Polyglass component speakers in the front doors - fit stock locations - these are great sounding speakers hand made in France

-Custom Made Sub Enclosure with Image Dynamic 12" sub in trunk.

It is in great condition works perfectly and is well integrated. I have original boxes for most everything and it is all for sale and I'll make you a deal. The whole system for $1000 or I will sell individual parts. I can send you photos if you email me.
