2013 w204 rear deck speaker problem
So I have 2013 c300 sport with Harmon Kardon speakers installed. The rear deck box where the bass and speaker sits in the trunk is making a buzzing sound on the drivers side. The other day the rear deck speaker system actually started smoking up so I took it to the MB dealership and they called me back telling me that someone tampered (voiding the warranty) with the wiring and it will cost $5200 to fix the rear deck speaker box that sits in the trunk on top because of the wiring issue. I did not touch the wiring!!, what so ever and don't know what to do!! Can someone please help me! Idk whether I should take it somewhere else or is it possible to buy a harmon kardon online. Please help!!

I'm picking up the car tomorrow morning and will take pictures. I'm going to go off on them because this is complete bs because I dont even know how to get to the wiring. Honestly I think there are trying to make money off of me because the car has been there for 5 days now and now they seem to find the "problem". Idk if I should take it to another dealership

2013 C300 Sport Package
Got my car back. Apparently the cable harness connected to the amp was tampered with and there is black tape on the wires where they were cut. That caused the the bass in the back to short circuit and burn out. The audio harness is $2400 to replace. Anyone know where I can get a used cheap one or maybe repairing the wires. Part number 204-440-24-05

it's wires! heat shrink and solder!!!! You don't need to replace the whole harness, if done right, that electron could care less! I've repaired many audio harnesses over the years, quite a few at MB, but more BMW's over the years.
