Interesting nichecustoms, I have been looking at springs and seen a pic of a C250 (standard vehicle without AMG pack) on Eibachs and it definitely sits lower both front and back compared to a C250 with the AMG pack which is meant to be approx. 15mm lower than standard anyway.
Even when I compare it to my C250-CDI it looks lower front and back, I'll try and get the pic - it comes from a web site of a local German car accessories shop here in Melbourne Aust.
I'm also interested in a possible diesel tuning box for my CDI, any advice on the one your using, there are so many out there with so many varying numbers and results.

I have a C250 CDI coupe, and after comming from a Scirocco, im dissapointed with the handling, the car is very 'wallowy' did you find the new springs improved the handling much?

Thanks for the info, but if I do anything on the tuning side of the CDI I'll stick to a tuning box for the moment, main reason is it's so much easier to return to stock without any trace.
I'm going to try and get that pic up of the C250 fitted with Eibachs here as it definitely sits lower front and back, I'm thinking that they must be a different part no. to the ones you've used
Interesting Albertz, I too have driven many other types of smaller performance cars and not thought their handling was any better than my C Class, although the steering on some of them was more accurate than my C250 and then again I havn't yet pushed my C250 really over the top hard yet
Also with cars like the Scirocco, the ride quality is terrible over rough roads, I suppose that's the compromise to get the handling, whereas in the Merc the ride quality is fantastic - best of both Worlds IMHO
