Boot and Window Spoilers

Has anyone bought these from Taiwan
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2310482734...84.m1423.l2649

Just wondering what the fit is like and if the 3d tape mentioned is sufficient

Thanks in advance

It doesn't look good to me. The shape of the trunk spoiler looks odd. Most Roof spoilers require urethane or silicone to ensure stable installation.

I bought these.

The 3m did not disappoint me at all although it I think it needs to be a little bit longer. However, right after I installed this, I went over to highway and the 3M really does its job.

To be safe, make sure you apply some glue booster (I forgot what people calls it) and it will stay for a couple of years without any problem

Not at all, just make sure you double check your paint code on the driver side. it matches perfectly.

I say yes for the window spoiler, but no on the trunk spoiler. The one they are advertising looks nothing like the oem one, and infact is a universal spoiler.

You want something that mentions oem look such as this trunk spoiler: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/vie...783&cmd=VIDESC

I agree that the trunk spoiler it not the same as the oem spoiler but it is acceptable imo.

boot spoiler prevents turbulence and creates more air flow so that the turbulence will be far away from the car. without the boot spoiler, the turbulence will be right behind the mercedes logo on the trunk (around that area)

I purchased an AMG like OEM trunk spoiler from Prospeed via eBay and am very satisfied. They matched the MB Steel Gerycolor exactly and they included double sided tape and glue.

I had it installed at a body shop by one of the workers for $20 during his lunch hour. Everyone wanted $60-$100 to do this if I went through the front door.
