Until now there are only boxes like the JBspeed ones. The ecu still isn't cracked so it isn't possible to do a full custom remap.

The ecu probably will be cracked next month.

Your best bet is to just save your money I tried a couple of these on my Audi and they claim to add add 5-20hp but you wont feel a thing for your $1000+ spent.
The best bang for the buck is a Sprint Booster for $300. It just remaps the throttle response and gives you the feeling of being faster. Had one in my Boxster and it felt like entire different car.

Thanks for the input guys. A little disappointed haha. Might just save up for a 2012 63 coupe soon as the W/C 205s come out.

I drive what I drive
Instead of a tune, you can add a full cat-less exhaust including headers, cold air intake, and sprint booster.

This is interesting? Was the ecu cracked over the summer - http://www.gadtuning.co.uk/testimoni...hp-remapping/? They are advertising a gain of 40-50 hp.

You won't get much at all for your n/a V6 with just a sofware tune, forced induction engines will respond alot more.

Those companies listed above do have ecu tuning options for forced inducted engines and the gains are very good

I'm sure in time there'll be more available for the petrols as well, tuned CDI's are absolutely awesome and remain super efficient at the same time

Some of these tunes offer 30hp and 20ft/lb torque and other things like throttle response and top speed limiter and turning the annoying seatbelt sound off haha. So not really all just for speed. Im fairly happy with the speed i have now. Im just checking out different options. Yes we all know for the AMGs tunes put out an extra 100hp compared to these.

2013 C63 Coupe
I had my E350 coupe ECU tuned by Jerry @ Eurocharged. Claimed 25hp gain and it did feel like more. Daveskii commented AMG tunes put ot extra 100 hp's, but don't think that is true. I'm considering an ECU tune on my 2013 C63 Coupe and what I've researched so far is around 30 hp gains. Then again I only researched Eurocharged because of my previous experience. Btw, on my E350 coupe I had Sprint Booster installed and with the ECU tune the car was totally improved. I bet with the smaller C class the car would be a vast improvement over stock. Just would need to upgrade the suspension... go for ECU tune!

Glad that you are liking it! You should see between 50-60 whp on a standard c63. (Non pp)

With the 350 the major difference is the throttle response as compared to the factory. It makes a huge difference!

Renntechs ecu offers around 60hp/60 torque with just an ecu remap. 100 is kinda high but I thought I've seen one for the c63 that gave 75-100 hp

What about these guys from Australia .http://www.powerchipgroup.com/datasheets/1/MER0449.pdf... they say something about Flashing the ECU and that they need you to send the ECU to them to reprogram it. That looks like they have a way of getting into the ECU. Just wondering ....

Quoting from that file: "Fitting Details
Your car uses an ECU which has 'flash' memory. The flash EPROM
inside the ECU is a hybrid and cannot be modified in the
conventional chip tuning method. Powerchip can 'flash' program
the EPROM device by interfacing with the computer's wiring
connector plugs to reprogram the chip that contains the engine's
fuel delivery, ignition timing and throttle response settings. The
ECU will need to be removed from the vehicle and sent via
overnight courier to Powerchip. We have full photo ECU removal
instructions to assist you and we will contact you after the order is
made to organise the shipping information and other details.
