Rear Rattle Help
Hi everyone, does anyone have this clicking rattle sound from the rear seat in their coupe?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivU9...ature=youtu.be
This video is from a C Coupe, I have an E Coupe (C207) with same rattle sound, and dealership doesn't have a clue how to fix this.
Thank you

C180 Coupe (C205)=> C 300 Coupe (C205)=> E350E AMG (W213) => ??
It's the edge of the roof trim where it meets the windshield. It's loose. You can actually jiggle it with your hand and reproduce the noise. Put some felt tape or something and problem solved. I had the exact same noise and it drove me mad.

Me! My 2019 is nothing but rattles, it's driving me insane and all the dealership does is come up with excuses, such as, "It's due to the suspension, it's not an S Class."

The only lingering rattles I have are obviously poor build quality in the doors. I do agree that a rougher ride should be expected - especially if you have the 19s - my 19s do not provide a very comfortable ride but I expected that.
The excuse I'm getting a lot is that it's lightweight materials and they expand and contract with temperature - which probably has some element of truth - but is not an excuse.
Overall, every aspect of the car is fantastic except for the rattles. I can say for a fact it will be my last C coupe. I can't imagine how badly the C63 rattles with that monster engine.

Money, mine just sounds like a complete hunk of junk. The rattles are beyond obvious my entire drive, I can't even enjoy my brand new car that cost me $53,000! I should have kept my CLA Sport and purchased an extended warranty but I fell in love with the C300 based on it's gorgeous looks.

It's a pity to hear Mercedes cars are having poor assembly quality now.
My next car will be a Lexus, coming from a previous W124, W210, W203, W204, W212 and C207 owner.
C207 is the worst Mercedes I have ever owned because its never ending rattles in various places, and the dealer can never figure out how to solve them.

Ya, they are correct. It is not a S Class. A S Class is a well build a solid car. A C, unfortunately, is not. Add the awful suspension and low profile tires and you have a rattle trap.
