what do you mean? and wouldn't it make it a little faster by adding a exhaust system or a intake? what would you suggest to add some speed? my budget is around 900-1000 less is better. used is ok.

Hey Dude, I would suggest you go either for the Remus or Eisenmann exhaust system, they help you gain quite a lot of bhp/kw as compared to other aftermarket brands. You can also install a Lorinser performance chip if you feel like it.

from what ive ehard, to ge tthe most HP for the least amount of money, you can get a light wieght master pulley, a new intake, i dont know about the 220's but if you have the 6 cyl, then I think "weapon r" makes an intake for your car. gogle "weapon r intakes" to find the website. The secret weapon is, in my opnion the most advanced intake aftermarket system ive ever heard of. Its about 200 dollars, but it sounds mean and does a good job.

For the good face of all MB owners, please dont make your car sound like a honda with a cheap muffler. Please. do that last if you have to safe the money for it.

If you can find lighter rims thats a plus.

93 octane gas.

yes a new cat back will help more air out and increse HP but only by about 5 or so. new headers will help with sound from the rear also.

To stay under 1,000 I would do a new intake, (100-200), and a nice ehaust system. Im not sure how much they are, Gready exhaust for a jap car is around 500-600.

just do those 2 and it will sound nice. A chip is a good idea too.

just some small idea's

only the tip does this thing, where it sounds really bad, you want, "cat back" exhaust. its smooth, its nice. For a benz specifically, I dont know about where to find it, a new intake.. Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/K-N-F...spagenameZWD1V thats a intake system, with a K&N. Everyone swears by K&N because there amazing. and its only like 47 dollars. so thats not bad.

Good luck. Post pictures and updates of how thigns sound and if you notice HP increase

yeah i would just wait for someone who has one to let you know what kind to get. Im not real big on exhaust for mercedes. I dont know anything aobut them really. So i cant really give input. Give it a few days for more people to read this and someone should have a good answer. but, order that intake. It seems like a good one for the money. If you got one from K&N as a intake system it would probably be about 200 dollars so thats a good deal.

Try these two links: http://www.eisenmann.co.uk/ and http://www.remus-usa.com/html/c-class.html.

Both Eisenmann and Remus are excellent exhaust systems to begin with. Most of other aftermarket brands are not as good according to what I've read up and heard about them. ie They don't increase your power output as much as these two brands, so its wise to get a good one. Plus Eisenmann exhaust systems sound a lot throatier than others and they just stand out from the rest.

Use this link to get more info on your model: http://www.eisenhaus.com/eisenmann.php.

You won't be dissapointed!

It costs about close to $1100 US according to local pricing, but price may have changed, so its a good idea to check it out with Remus.

the eisenmann system is about 850. then you have to get it put on if you dont know how to do it yourself.

http://www.mercedesforum.com/m_70155/tm.htm

Cheaper exhaust systems would dissapoint you. Go for quality stuff.

Why is Remus not a sponsor over here?
People over at MF barely modify their rides.

I've heard bad stories from other 202 owners regarding K&N intake system. Some said that K&N will be accumulating dirt in your MAF and trigger the Check Engine Light. MAF runs for $250 itself, so you might wanna be careful.

There are members here who installed eisenmann ehaust in their 202s It sounded and looked great. I know that Remus won't dissapoint either.

Either way, if you want to get significant HP gain, there is no other way besides going FI or nitrous.

Good luck in your quest man.

K&N filters are designed for rally cars. Ive heard people say you loose filtration for HP gain. I dont think this is true. I think K&N's filtration system is more efficient in keeping the ait clean, yet, letting more air flow through.

I have heard because of the oil base, that gets sucked into the engine causing problems, but if its a new one, its not over oiled, when you go to clean it, thats when it becomes and issue. I just buy a new one.

Did you order the intake system from ebay yet? Let us know how it sounds and if you notcie any difference in HP and MPG

True, but 202 owners said otherwise. If you search for other K&N topic you'll know what I'm talking about.

Honestly, I don't really think you can see significant HP gain whatsoever with C220. I'm not trying to discourage or anything just stating my opinion.

To the original poster, if you want to do bodykit, I recommend Wald or any AMG (C36 and C43) line. They look very subtle and classy, instead of ricery. You can check for Wald at www.jonari.com and AMG at ebay.

They have a couple nice w202 kits.
