... ah maaan- weight dist. & tint questions

Well here's two questions, probably to be promtly answered by Aho, which I appreciate as always.

First of all- I notced today that one side of my rear suspension (driver side) sits a bit lower than the other. (passenger side) This was the case with my first C220 as well. I'm a bit worried about uneven tire wear due to the chasis sitting uneven. I think I know the problem, but correct me if I'm wrong. I have a rather heavy BandPass style box that weighs at least 100lbs. It is pretty much in the middle of the trunk but sits a little to the left (passenger side) of the trunk to leave room for the power wire and amp on the right hand side. Could this be causing the uneveness? I'm going to see if I can run my power wire behind the trunk liner so I don't have to leave space on the right side of the trunk. (if I push it any further now, the wire will pull out of the amp) Any ideas guys?

Secondly, I've been looking into tint lately. I met a guy at the Benzworld.org meet this past weekend with a tinted C43. It had a few vertical scratches on the front two windows. I've heard a few rumors that if you tint the windows of a W202, they will most likely be scratched. Can I expect this to happen?

Thanks for the help-

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
Sholly... the box isnt making the issue. its probably just normal settlement. how big of a difference are you talking about??? but it isnt the box, dont worry about that.

tint... get it done from the right people and you will have no such issues. like i said before, i had 202's before with tint... never an issue... even with the 202 windows loving to scrape on their way up and down.

it acutally seems really dark cause of the sunroof being closed and being hit with direct sunlight like that, but here is a pic that might make it seem lighter.

It does I admit seem a little on the dark side... no wonder I got a ticket first day I had it.....

thanks

Yeh, aho, the place im going to get the tint done is a very trustworthy shop. I'm hoping they do a good job. My friend's 5.35i was done about two months ago and still looks great. As for the springs, hopefully it's just a settling issue. My last W202 had this problem too. thanks-

visibly

It's definitely visibly noticeable. If I stick my fingers into the wheel-well on one side, I can tell that it's different form the other. I'd say maybe .5 inch at the very most. The weird part is that sometimes it doesnt look uneven. I usually notice it when it sits in my garage... uneven foundation of the garage may be a factor... haha

oh thats it?!? its nothing, completely normal don't worry about it. as long as it drives nice and you have no other ill effects... half an inch is FINE. don't worry.
