yes, I've searched the forums. I see lots of testimonials in favor of OEM (though I can't find a post with Rincewind's $260 source), but has anyone been pleased with the Schatz, for example (evosport has it for $220), or, for that matter, with the ebay chrome tape strips?

I bought an insert for pretty cheap from autorice.com

it fits good, I only needed to check one "line" that had a tendency to shift 1/8 inch to the right, but now it's fixed

strips are poor quality and well eventually fall off. avante guarde grille is the best... had it, loved it.

I got my eyes on the same type on ebay too! I gotta stop with the mods.... (the few I've made). I hope to get some pics uploaded in a week.

Jump on it... I got mine a while ago on eBay for $80 plus $15 shipping and I'm 100% satisfied w/ the look.

2 of the cheapest upgrades for you c class are the grill inserts and clear corner lights, IMO.
