Let me know how it goes with your fogs. I tried to search in the C32/C55 forum to see if they had any threads started to replace the fog lamps, but what I found wasn't really conclusive. Ask FrankW. He might actually know if replacing the fog bulbs is different with the AMG bumper.

so there are no LEDs but the wiring is there for them? can you just buy LEDs and put them in then?

My newest mod...

Okay, so I saw this and just had to have it because of its uniquness. Had wanted to get it ever since I saw it on the Expression website, but didn't realize it was a MH-Dezent roof spoiler and Expression did not sell it (later on, I found out that the two companies are related somehow).

If anybody wants my Lorinser-style spoiler, I'm selling it in the Classifieds.

Well, here's a "sneak peek" before I have it painted and installed:

Looks pretty cool. Please post pics after installation. I am curious to see how this fits with the roof lines....

I am interested in your Lorensor spoiler... Do you have pics? What color?

Definitely will post pics once I have it painted and installed (along with the taillights I just did and the Euro Trunklid). Trying to decide if I'm going to use 3m tape or have a bodyshop use silicone. Either way, I'm looking to do this within the next week or so.

My current roof spoiler is Lorinser-style. It's not an actual Lorinser. I bought this from ebay before for $320 (painted and shipped). It's color matched to my car (midnight blue - 904). I'm only selling it for $100 + shipping to your area. Since you're in New England, I'd have to find a box to fit it in and check what the shipping costs would be to get it to you. I might be able to use the box from my MH-Dezent spoiler, but if you're really interested let me know. I'm only accepting Paypal, money order or cashier's check.

Thanks, drex.

Cappa26, just happened to do a search on ebay and saw it. It only came up on a C Class search, but not a w203 search.

The guy ended up being relatively close, so I'm gonna go pick it up instead of having it shipped. It's a MH-Dezent spoiler. The problem is, there's only 1 distributor in the US that MH-Dezent lists on their website and it's in Texas. When I called to inquire how much it would be to purchase from them, I spoke to a guy (Charles) and he said he'd get back to me because they're sending people evacuated from the Hurricanes into his town. I still haven't heard back from him, but he approximated the cost to be $350 + cost of shipping to me.

Here's their website:
http://www.mercedesperformanceaccessories.com/

You might want to give them a call if you're interested in getting one as well. If not, you can always buy my Lorinser-style spoiler for $100 + cost of shipping.

Slight tease of what's next (new shoes)...

So since I already have majority of the purchase paid for and now it's just a waiting game until mid-late February when they arrive, I thought I'd post some preview pics of what's up next for my car. I'm pretty much gonna be a hermit until then (considering the amount of $$$ I had to throw down for these).

BTW...there's a catch, they're not gonna look "exactly" as the pics. The real deal will be revealed late February.

Enjoy, everybody.

LOL...yeah, I was back and forth debating whether these would be my final choice, but everything kept leading in this direction. My 2nd choice was going to be Work XSA O2C wheels. They are only 2 piece wheels (which is still okay for me), but they didn't have rivets. Would've been a little less $$, but I don't think I would've been satisfied in the end (sounds of "dtm", kept ringing in my head)...lol.

As for the new body kit, maybe by summer. Realistic goal would be at the end of the year (all depends on whether I decide to get comand on Steve's next visit or not) and also how long it'll take to get the kit (depending on what front bumper I decide to get). I'm hoping that my cash flow will be much better this year and if all goes well, I just might have comand and the full body kit (and exhaust) on there by summer.

If not, it'll be piece-by-piece, as I've done in the past. We'll see. Just gotta cross my fingers and hope for the best.

Nope. A little 'bit more than that, but Sander @ TWS gave me a very fair price.

Well I saw em at a tire shop for a little bit over 700 too, but I didn't post the exact price because it'd ruin your surprise!

there's also another surprise that bumps it up just a tad too...

I'd be surprised if they weren't significantly over $700 a pop. But, they're gonna look hott!
