OK, so I ordered a new grill and hood emblem last night from formymercedes.com and got an email back that the grill I ordered was not in stock, it was en route from the manufacturer and would be here in a week, then could be shipped out. I ordered the black CL style grill, but Jerry has the silver one available. My car is brilliant silver. I was tossed up last night and literally went back and forth between the two and finally settled on "eeny, meeny, miny, moe" to choose.

Which one do you like better on a silver car? PS, Have chrome 19s on the way if it makes a difference.

 

The silver grille sucks, but so do chrome wheels, so you're getting no love from me

 

the Silver grill really stands out on that car, get that. and he doesn't have chrome wheels...?

It still may get ghetto, we'll see................I may just order another set of rims after these come in. I still think I can get 20s on it, and spinners at that.

I dont know why for sure but Im leaning towards the black one more. I think its just because the bars of the grill are larger and doesnt seem as slanted and clustered like the silver one. But to each his own...i love the car no matter what! And the chrome 19s will look very nice

 

which would you guys get on a black C230WZ? I really like the silver on a black car, but just curious what your opinions are.

 

neither, i would keep the stock grill and emblem.

or get the elegance grill from formymercedes.

 

I like the elegance grill for the amount of chrome, but the star is too small IMO, I also have read that particular grill does not fit as well, or is made as well, as the CL ones from formymercedes.com, hence the higher price tag. Its a nice car, and I've got to have the quality, reguardless.

 

 

i voted for black grille

 

i personally like the black fins as it provides more contrast. it also makes the chrome stand out more.

 

i personaly like the stock grill better. just get a flat hood emblem and call it a day.
