renntech kit in 3 more weeks

renntech kit in 3 more weeks
so i'm heading back down to my house in palm beach florida for 2 weeks and while there, having the renntech performance package 1 installed. i've decided on package 1 b/c i don't think i want my exhaust too loud and i'm not sure how it would sound on MB's 4 cylinder. anyone have any sound clips on a C230? the dealership near me here on Long Island has a renntech CLK500 sitting on there showroom floor and will and know how to service any renntech upgrades which is a big plus to me. i'm guessing that if mercedes has a relationship with renntech, they must trust their products and service. unless it's the dealerships decision, not sure but all i know is they've been spoken of highly and i'm excited to see what gains my car will produce. again, if anyone has any sound clips of any aftermarket exhausts on the C230, i'd really appreciate it

mbny, make sure you check with Renntech because there isn't a Performance Package 1 available for the m271. Since you've got a 2005, you definitely have the M271 engine (unless of course you already did an engine swap). Kinda confusing why they would term it differently for this engine, but the choices are:
- ECU upgrade
- Performance Upgrade 2 (Larger crankshaft pulley kit)
- Performance Package 2 (Larger crankshaft pulley kit and ECU upgrade)
- Performance Package 3 (Larger crankshaft pulley kit, ECU upgrade and Sport Muffler).
- ECU upgrade
- Performance Upgrade 2 (Larger crankshaft pulley kit)
- Performance Package 2 (Larger crankshaft pulley kit and ECU upgrade)
- Performance Package 3 (Larger crankshaft pulley kit, ECU upgrade and Sport Muffler).

In case you don't know, the Renntech exhaust is just a rebadged Remus with different tips. Oh, and costs more, too, obviously.
As Adam said, most people who have that exhaust haven't said that it sounds that much different than stock.
